They should make a Halo: S-III

This world wants to drag you down... And the weight, that guilt they want to hang around your neck, you don’t have to carry it one more step. You think they won’t let you rest, but it’s not up to them. It never was.

Whatever.

NO KINECT PLEASE.

Reach was nerfed to pleased the more-Casual audience. I don't want to see another Halo game end down on that very same path.

Erm...no offence.
But Kinect to make a RTS game even better playable on a console is a big win for me...Hell, if I could play a Halo Wars 2 with Kinect and it would work, I wouldn't even think about using my controller for it...

As for the idea above about ODST 2: Awesome!.
Not sure about the whole episodic thing tho.
If they would do that, it would be better to make some sort of game-version of Halo Evolutions. Each episode being about 1-2 hours long, focussing on 1 story/point of view and covering a whole range of conflicts in the Halo universe.

Also: I wouldn't make it as an sequel, but a prequel. That would indeed be better as it could show us why Rookie ends up silent, which would make his character so much more interesting.
But one focussing on Buck and his previous team while defending New Alexandria would be great too.

Good points. I think [Jericho VII (Rookie/New Character) - Reach (Buck)] would be better. A game after the events of Halo 3 could potentially suck or be uneventful. Unless it's Halo 4. Unless Halo 4 will suck, assuming it's going to happen of course.

why would any game developer waste to money to make a sequel to the two worst games in the halo franchise?
If u ask me and about a few other million people, there should be a remake of halo 2 with better graphics but no changes to the game engine or gameplay.

Because they are only bad in your opinion. Honestly, I think ODST's music is the best in the series.

Oh my gosh, ODST's music was godly. I loved it.

I would like Halo: Blue Team.

Blue Team would be nice...but I kind of want to play as a different soldier other then a Spartan. Yes, I think they're freaking kick-ass, but I wouldn't mind something new, like ODST.

This. I would like to see a set of new characters fighting on Jericho VII, although featuring the Rookie (more or less), who would actually talk a bit. The game could show why the Rookie doesn't talk much after the Battle of Jericho VII (Post Traumitc Stress Disorder maybe? Something like that). It would be cool if they implemented a basic squad command game mechanic, like utilising the d-pad to direct different members, as seen in Mass Effect.

I have more ideas! The game could be in some sense "episodic", each "episode" contained at least several missions. The first episode would be what I mentioned above. (The game would be a campaign only game).

The second episode would put you in the shoes of the Rookie, who is starting to talk a bit more. It would take place during the events of Halo 3, telling the continued story of the squad from the original ODST game. It would tell what else was happening during the timeline, from the perception of the ordinary soldier, and not Master Chief. It would be hard to make the second episode as dark as the first one though. Maybe one of the main characters dies or something, just to mix things up a little.

And Episode 3...After Halo 3? Would there be anything fight? Maybe the Covenant Remnant? This episode would conclude in such a way that would create anticipation for Halo 4. Maybe a UNSC ship receives the distress beacon signal from Forward Unto Dawn?

So are my ideas good or rubbish?

Maybe your ODST squad is the one who discovers the new threat for Halo 4? Or they find a floating object, which they later discover has the Master Chief and Cortana, which also leads to the Halo after Halo 3?

Lololol you realy think halo would go on kinect?yeah that would just ruin it,look up 5 ways kinect would ruin halo on youtube

Do you not understand that it would be for an RTS? And that just because you can play it on Kinect doesn't mean it's the only version? And that you could play it regularly with a controller if you choose?

Halo Wars 2, well I guess I wouldn't mind seeing a sequel but I think the Halo Wars games (if they were to continue that brand) would be better on PC than 360... just my opinion. As for a sequel to ODST, I really enjoyed to first one but think that if they did a sequel it shouldn't have the whole solving a mystery aspect, just a regular campaign with a set main character, and maybe drop the whole main story being at night where it's a "go here then there" pace... if that makes sense

I understand what you're saying. Although, I have to say, I did like the mystery and the dark atmosphere. But, I would have liked The Rookie to have a bigger role and I didn't exaclty like the "go here then there" pace.

I agree, great games, not best selling but they sold a lot, they need a sequel.

Exaclty my thoughts. The story of ODSTs has so much potential. In my opinion, 343 Industries could make a trilogy out of the ODSTs. If they make the story more interesting and rich, it'd sell well, in my opinion.

Also, they could probably make a Halo Wars trilogy. Many people wanted a sequel to the cliffhanger. So, why not make the sequel, then finish up the whole story with a Halo Wars 3?

Doesn't seem like a bad idea to me. The innovation and possibilties for the storyline can make it very interesting.
