I think it would be pretty cool.

Bend it like Barrera

I'd prefer a Human forerunner war.

If somebody's opinion is being smashed and nobody's helping, I try and help. I use logic and extensive vocabulary (and sometimes self-destructive circular reasoning) to confuse my enemies into submission. Fear me, trolling, fapping creatures of the night. For I. Am your worst nightmare.

God Id love this. With the PC as Johnson, going through the whole actual beginning would be epic.

I have run this through my mind for ages. If they did make a Halo game on the battle of harvest I would want 2 discs, 1 campaign and the other, multiplayer, forge etc. I would want it to go through the spartan training program and be a goddamn long ass campaign.

There were no Spartans in the battle of Harvest. The actual battle is fought between a 40 man militia and the small crew of a single Covenant cruiser. That wouldn't make much of a game, and it's sufficiently covered in Contact Harvest. The other phases of the five years of hell are adequately described in Evolutions, Wars and HW:Genesis. So there's really nothing to make a game about.

Vengeance only leads to an ongoing cycle of hatred.

Hmmm...I think I'd like a new story. After playing Reach, I've confirmed that "From the beginning, you know the end" makes the campaign not so interesting because, well, you already know what's going to happen.

It would be awesome if the first few levels were based off of contact harvest and then the last levels based off of the five years. Ending with the retaking of it of course.

The person who said participating is important, not winning, obviously never won anything.

I've been saying this for the longest time now, they need to make a game based on the Battle of Jericho VII.

The battle lasted three days with a stalemate in orbit. Marines, ODST's and multiple Spartan teams were involved on the ground. Please tell me somewhere better during the Human-Covenant War, if it exists for a potential game.

Beta Tau

I want to play as either members of Gray Team or Blue Team and learn more about their actions during the war.

Multi-trillionaire modern cowboy.

That's right.

Yeah.. indeed.
Something they could do is making multiple ODST-like mini-campaigns. Surrounding the unknown stuff on harvest, and minor battles which are only mentioned in the books and games.

I like the idea about Jericho btw. I seems to be the perfect battle.
