Subject: Would Bungie have control over promotions for new Halo's ?

Im not shure if this is the correct forum for this question, but here goes nothing.

Previously with other halo games there has been different promotional events like Ilovebees or AdjutantReflex's forum mesages, seeing that Bungie has sold Halo to microsoft would Bungie still be able to do all those fun little events if a new halo comes out ? or would microsoft handle all of that stuff and probably not do any of those forum games ?

Thoughts ?

ARGs were never run by Bungie to begin with. A separate company is responsible for planning and executing an ARG. All Bungie did for those was provide the company with vague guidelines and generalities about the product in question the ARG campaign revolves around.

This, plus bungie will no longer even be giving those vague guide lines.

So in essence no.

If a project in question warrants it, I'm sure Microsoft would commission another ARG campaign.

Ah i see, i hope that have somthing in the works that will allow them to do an ARG. They did leave the Halo story with alot of openings so they could easily make another without stepping on to many toes

Bungie already broke a lot of toes with Reach. They took a huge s*it all over canon. As I like to say, they gots some splainin' to do.

Not really, if you've actually read the books.
