Halo Combat evloved gave you a sense of lonlyness and exploration of something never seen before, facing Flood, Covenant and Sentinels, it was something different.

Halo 2 was the Call of Duty of 2004, it had that military feeling and revoloved on a second person game with two sides, It was a fantastic story with something different.

Halo 3 was nothing special, it was basically Halo CE with updated graphics, going through the same thing you did in Halo CE.

Halo 3: ODST was just like CE, gave you a sense of loneliness and disaster trying to live.

Halo Wars was an amazing story, too uncanical.

KILL OR BE KILLED!

U forgot Reach

I can't say. Too hard but probably Halo 2 or Halo 1. But the Trilogy is the best.

Halo 2's campaign was the best IMO, with Halo CE being very close behind.

It is possible to commit no errors and still lose. That is not a weakness. That is life.

Cheeto is the only one among you that doesn't suck.

I think Halo 2 had the best story, it was, in every sense of the word, epic. It just felt grand, much larger than the original game.
For starters, the Covenant get their own story in Halo 2. In Halo CE they were just the aliens trying to kill humanity. Halo 2 put a face on them, and you actually emphasize with them and their objectives. Especially when the Covenant turns on the Elites.
Bringing the war to Earth was also a brilliant move, it attaches the user to the conflict beyond just humans fighting aliens. Now you're defending your home from the aliens, rather than some mysterious ring world.
The flood also became more than just space zombies. The gravemind made them intelligent, and a good deal more terrifying.
CE ain't got -blam!- on Halo 2.

I think Reach is a close second. I admit, there are some canonical errors in Reach, but setting those aside, it's a grand, and rather sad, tale.

I completely agree.

Halo 2 showed us what we were fighting for, it showed us the other side of the coin through the eyes of the Covenant which showed how the Covenant were actually weak.

Ever notice how the Arbiter and Rtas never kill any humans, only Heretics who abandoned the Covenant, it just shows how insecure that the Covenant religion is where humanity is seen fighting together throughout the game. The Great Schism only emphasises this.

Vengeance only leads to an ongoing cycle of hatred.

Halo Wars campaign was amazing.

Halo: Reach campaign was okay. Bungie s*it all over the canon, though. Very disappointing.

Halo: CE was alright. Pretty fun. Not the best.

Halo 2 was alright. Pretty fun. Not the best.

Halo 3: ODST was pretty damn good.

Halo 3 campaign was amazing. Had the most fun with this game.

IMO:
1st: Halo 3
2nd: Halo Wars
3rd: Halo ODST
4th: Halo 2
5th: Halo: CE
6th: Halo: Reach

I liked Reach the most. Halo: CE was good, but got boring quickly after the first few times because it was mostly done by copy/paste level design and it was the easiest Halo after H3. I hated playing as the Arbiter in Halo 2, because the levels as him were boring and repetitive.

Halo 3 felt rather mediocre and there was little to no interesting story in it.

1. Reach (I love Exodus, LNOS, and the Package)
2. Halo 2 (Chief's missions rule and the story easily the best and most interesting)
3. Halo: CE
4. Halo 3

Halo 2

Et Eärello Endorenna utúlien.
Sinome maruvan ar Hildinyar.
tenn' Ambar-metta!

Well for me the best campaign was in order from the first to the last:

1. Halo CE
2. Halo 3
3. Halo: Reach
4. Halo 3 ODST
5. Halo 2
6. Halo Wars.

1. Halo 2
2. Halo Reach
3. Halo CE/Halo 3
4. Halo 3 ODST
5. Halo Wars

Halo CE would have been higher were it not for boring gameplay such as spending 30 minutes trying to find marines/generators/a way out of the library. Halo 3 ODST would have been higher if it was a little longer.
