The system is quiet, cool, and runs great. It's also decked out with a few UV cathodes, so the UV cooling fluid and the PSU cables glow a calming blue. The only problem is that the whole thing weighs in at over 40 pounds!
Ha, I was waiting for that sexy legs ;) oh and I see you got the new 7800 already, very nice.
ummm mine's kind of old but it WAS good when I bought it :/
-Dell Dimension 8100
-Intel Pentium III 1.4Ghz
-512MB RAM
-Nvidia FX5600 XT
-SATA 140gb hard drive
-Logitech wireless keyboard and mouse (LX700)
-some crap sound card
-some crap intel motherboard
-and....that's about it
So ya I can play Halo pretty good. I used to play it on 1024x768 with settings on medium. But I really wanted to play with High textures and particles so I now play it on 800x600. My computer's able to run most programs but I don't think I can buy Call of Duty 2 and Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory because even the demos were having a hard time running. The real bottleneck is the processor, although it's not unheard of I wasen't planning on replacing it, instead when your processor goes out of date you usually have to buy a new computer altogether :( Well hopefully I'll get one soon, at least this one will be custom-built ;)
P.S oh ya don't get DELL I'm convinced they built my hard-drive to fail after 3 years...I had the standard 40 gig model and BOOM, just 3 months after my 3-year warranty was up, it failed on me. Stupid hardware failure.....
