"Living to smile, and not to succeed; smiling to inspire happiness, not to give the illusion you are happy; creativity and music to inspire smiling, which in turn inspires happiness; being nice to be happy, not for being perceived a good person."

reach the level of technological advancement of the Human race in the Halo series? At the 22nd century, the planet Earth actually became United under the UNSC. By the 23rd-24th century we had started colonizing far off worlds in the depths of space. By the time it was at the 26th, Humanity has created the Ultimate breed of super-soldiers.

In under a hundred years, we created the first airplane, and then were able to send the Sputnik into space, and have already landed on the Moon.

How far are we off are we from attaining such feat that Halo has achieved?
How far are we off from these amazing things?

I think we will acomplish everything in the Halo universe up to the point of FTL travel. If we are even capable of discovering it, it would take a long, long time.

What spectagon are you in?

It really is impossible to say. You would think it should take at least 500 years, but any day a spectacular scientific breakthrough could occur that changes everything.

This could happen...or there can be a long lull where technology is almost at a standstill.

Exactly. It's impossible to tell, it could happen tomorrow, within 1000 years or never.

Probably 30 years max, remember 5 years ago, 1000GB in your everyday computer sounded impossible, now I have a $600 computer with 1000GB hard drive
