And a crash course in typing and grammer?

Mods must actually go over and re-read their posts, unlike us common-folk.

I don't re-read it. I just read it while I type it.

There is a reason I am user ID 1 and my account creation date is before this site came online.

If there are further questions, one could always look up for the answers, as in look at the top of the first page and see the sticky in the Septagon that says "Moderators FAQ". They started that sticky about a month ago because they were getting flooded by questions much like yours. I too wondered what it took to have ninja-dom bestowed upon you, and I got the same answers you're getting here...."bananas and lots of screaming" mostly from Achronos!

I suppose that that is an alternative. Still, the grammer and accuracy of typing of bungie.net moderators is unparalleled by any other mortal.

The likelyhud (and sham3) of being sigged, (especially if we use bd grama or had terrible speelin), is what keeps many of us on our tos.

Lol. Still possible...

Or made a silly post and put in a few words like "blar blar blar", right before deleting the post.

I'm not talking about you and particular, I'm just saying that this thread reminds of how often people ask for promotions.

"You know what happens when you leave someone hanging for too long? They fall."

*Click* Psshhhhhhhh

Why do some many people go crazy about being a mod? Let me say this:

A moderator is a higher type of status on a site. Some people on bungie are acting like they live just so they will be chosen as the next mod. Us members, are important to bungie too. If every person had mod powers, this site would be jaked up in no time. I'm not saying being a mod is a bad thing, but they have a lot of responsibilities, to go along with their privalages. I can't tell you how many people do stuff like, act like a mod, and do posts dilereretly so mods "like" them. They don't fall for that crap.

If you want to know what they do:
Create a group, get a few people in it. And use your "powers", delete, pin, lock, backlist, ban, w/e.

Being a mod isn't the best thing in the world. It would be cool, but it's not that great.

Jeez being a mod is like being a 2 year old and having to do a 23 year old adults jobs

... Maybe, that makes no sense?

I see it as being a 15 year old, doing a 23 year old adults job, which happens to be looking after 7-12 year olds.

Because children suck. XD
