Hey all u Spartans! Remember the ending of Halo? Did anyone bother to wait until after the credits were over or were u all to busy going crazy cuz u just beat the game? i know i was but did anyone see something that kinda left u thinkin? well ill just get to what im trying 2 say! how the hell did the monitor survive the destruction of Halo? u know after the credits he just flew off into space if u missed it then go back and beat it again and wait till the credits r over. how do u think the monitor could have escaped???? maybe he teleported like when he teleported himself and the MC into the library. i think that somehow the monitor will come into play again in Halo 2! i think he is gonna show up some how? why do u think they showed the monitor survive and float into space? they wouldnt do it for nothing!!! anyone got any suggestions about the monitor or something?[Edited on 8/21/2004 10:22:19 PM]

I proof-read this post at least twice. I suggest you do the same so you don't look like a moron."Then, on the 14th of September 3866, the 7th company of the Presian army, which had been posted in Cuîrt one week beforehand, crossed the Perdané into Ulastap and captured the city of Reiginkø on the other side of the river. This dashed all hopes of reaching a peaceful solution in the North-East.”
Edited to fix your link. :)Firstly, the underground is as good a place as any to post this - it's related to both Halo and Halo 2.Secondly, don't get annoyed because somebody new posts something that's already been discussed. It's not a tragedy. You all know that these forums need a search function. I'm sure that no animals were harmed in the creation of this topic. What I'm saying is, there's no reason to get angry over this thread. Chubb has the right idea. - Reiginko
I wasnt angry. I'm as Mellow as that guy in that song.

Heeheehee! I just had a flashback to the gameplay vid based on a song of his whose title I cannot post. -- Steve hopes he's not contributing to the deliquency of minors with that link, but it's funny as -blam!-. (Some strong language and mature themes, but all video is unmodded game-play.)
everyone knows that
well the monitor is one of the smartest things in the game so he must have known that the engins are goin critacal so he took of way before you.
It also means that cortana's scans were not as through as it could have been, if she didn't pick up GS, maybe something else survived??

It is easy for the monitor to survive the destruction of halo forr one or two reasons. Your teleportation idea. Or two if you've ever tried to kill the monitor it is almost possible but no it it proves to be quite difficult. You can unload rounds of various weapons and he'll still talk like he owns the world.
