Vengeance only leads to an ongoing cycle of hatred.

I would like a Halo ODST 2, but I don't think it'll happen.

So, can we at least get a novel based on ODSTs?

I know there's a Helljumper comic thingy. But, I'm talking about a novel.

It'd be nice to see some new and exciting story about the ODSTs that doesn't mess with the canon and actually becomes apart of the canon.

Would anybody else like this or is it just me?

Sure, why not?

I'm currently reading Evolutions. My favorite stories in it is "Dirt" and "The Mona Lisa".

Maybe it could be a novel that follows buck, and each alternating chapter tells the story of the events before the game (including his cameo in reach)and also his perspective of the events after the game, such as the invasion of earth and what not.

This man, this man right here put it so eloquently that I actually cancelled my own 2000+ word long post.
/slow clap for respect

:)
The person who said participating is important, not winning, obviously never won anything.

If it were like Halo Evolutions ''Dirt'' story, hell yeah.

Yes, I'm a furry. And yes, I like men. So what?

Well, there was a novella in Halo: Evolutions called "Dirt"...

Those were my favorite as well. The Mona Lisa was beast because it was all scary and mysterious.

Cole Protocol is sort of an ODST Novel.

That's about the 3 Spartans of Grey Team.

EDIT: Now that I think, there was some ODSTs in there. But, I'm talking about a novel that revolves around the ODSTs.

Welcome to the HALO Nation

I was able to guess what they were going to encounter as soon as they met John Doe but it was still very exciting and that's what I liked most about it.

I think a book that follows a Platoon or Company of Marines during Halo 2 and 3 would be cool

Yeah. I see what ya mean. I'd probably rather play as ODSTs, instead of Marines, but Marines are cool too. It just seems too modern to play as Marines. A lot of people might complain that it'd be like CoD. But, who knows. It could be really great. (Hopefully, they change the Marines armor, though. The U.S Marines look so badass, but Halo marines look so retarded and wimpy.)

Welp.

I would love an ODST novel. I'm a big ODST fan
