Everything will be gone long before me. When the first living thing was born, I was here, waiting. When the last living thing dies, my job is finished. I'll put the chairs on the tables, turn out the lights and lock the universe behind me when I leave.

Are the ships on those levels the same,The Truth and Reconciliation?

But the books said it's an unknown ship, but somehow, Sliva know that is the ship.
I just "assume" it is.

it is the same ship and as for the maps being different its probably because u start in a different spot, all the passage ways blocked by debris(spelling?) and the damage sustained by the ship after the flood attacked.
i don't remember it being that damaged when u attack it in TaR

I'm not too sure.

I actually think they're not the same ship. I think Cortana would mention it at the start of the 'Keyes' level, but she just refers to the ship as a cruiser that the Flood overwhelmed.

They do have the same layout but there were lots of ships in the Covenant fleet that visited Halo 04 - "...multiple CCS-class battle-groups, make that 3 capital ships per group..."

Also, in the book "The Flood" which is basically the story of Halo:CE, towards the end of the book, the marines take over the Truth and Reconciliation and it was pretty easy. I don't think a few marines would have been able to take over the ship that MC leaves at the end of Keyes because it's swarming with Spec Ops Elites and s**t-loads of Flood.

That's just my opinion from the evidence as I see it. Might be wrong.

Actually, after reading the Flood (Novel), I'm led to believe they aren't. At the same time the Chief is rescuing the Captain (OMGBALLOON), Silva and McKay are taking over the Truth and Reconciliation... I think. So I am pretty sure they aren't the same ship.

(There is more than one ship in the Covenant fleet...)

Are you sure about that? The levels do share many of the same rooms. You go through them in different orders and go through different doors at times, but I thought that they matched up.

If memory is correct they are NOT the same ship. The one from the later "under new management" is another ship the covenant sent to deal with the flood. The marines actually take it over and try to leave halo with it. I'll not say anymore in case you did not read the books...Hog

I know this is kind of of sububject, but can you guys give me a link to a video of the final cutscene. I can not beat The Maw, because when you try to blow up the POA, you have to press like 20 ndifferent buttons all over the room. I just kept dying because the Flood blew up my shield. Somehow, I need to see how it ends.

It is the soldier, not the reporter, who has given us freedom of the press. It is the soldier, not the poet, who has given us freedom of speech. It is the soldier, not the campus organizer, who has given us the freedom to demonstrate. It is the soldier, not the lawyer, who has given us the right to a fair trial. And it is the soldier who salutes the flag, who serves the flag, whose coffin is draped in the flag that allows the protester to burn the flag.Father Dennis Edward O'Brien, USMC

I dont know

In the Books Capt Silva and his troops take oiver that ship and start to fly away with it before it explodes.

In the game the ship is highly damaged

I believe that they are the same shipfor these reasons.

1. They are both set on a Desert Plateau (sp?)
2. I think it's after you get back on the ship in 'Keyes' Cortana says something like " The Covenant Battlenet is a mess i can't access the ship schematics, my records indicate that a shuttlebay should be...here" and then a nav point comes up meaning that your've already been on the ship before.

Yeah but that could just be because the TR is the same type of ship has the one on Keyes.

Has for the location, it looks different. If it was the same then it would be like playing the 3rd level under the ship over.

I respect your opinion, I'm probably just going to disagree with it.

Yes, they are the same ship, if you listen to the movie at the beginning, it says the ship is called the Truth and Reconcilliation. I have no idea why they don't match, maybe they didnt expect someone to make maps of them lol

They are NOT the same ship. Although they seem like the same ship, you'll notice that Cortana addresses that ship with no particular name. If it was the Truth and Reconciliation, I believe that she would have said so.

Also, in The Flood, Silva or McKay, I can't remember which, says that the chief and Cortana surfaced long enough to say that they were going on a rescue mission to get Keyes. That implies that the cruisers are not the same ship.

Silva is taking over the cruiser while the MC is taking over PoA, not while he is rescuing Keyes. On page 316 of The Flood, it says: "Major Silva stood at what amounted to parade rest, feet spread, hands clapsed behind his back, as he looked out over the landing pads while the men and women under his command made final preparations for the assault on the Covenant ship Truth and Reconciliation." Thus, it is the same ship, definitely. Also, the section The Maw starts on page 309, so it is definitely while the MC is on PoA.

In The Flood, on page 288, it says "On board Truth and Reconciliation" in the mission log thing because this is the start of the chapter. This is when he is saving Keyes, so they are definitely the same.

hey ppl they are NOT the same ship b/c

1. cortana refears to the ccs ship as "cruiser' not TR
2. diffrent map layout
3. on the TR there is hundreads of thousands of flood forms and dozens of elite and grunt strike teams and when the odst take over they take the ship without much effort
4. the ccs cruiser MC boards has no drop zone (huge metal standing)
5. the keys/elite/flood "brain" form takes up the control deck and when the odst take over they dont mention it
6. cortana says that the covenant strike team was ordered to nutrualize the flood and reapair the ship (that is very badly damaged) there is no way these repairs could be made in time for the odst to hi-jack it

Did you even read the post I put on before? It is quite conclusive, but most of your evidence is circumstantial. Also, they did not take over the whole ship, just part of it, and by the time they got their most of the Covenant would have died, the Flood would still be recuperating, and oh yeah, it says so in the book, like I wrote above.
