if i were to go to seatle, and march into bungie's office holding an official statment from someone declaring that the servers need to be fixed (which is something even i can do myself, by the way), what do you think the responce would be?
Because is a little while, after i get in to college, i will be leaving for seatle, and i will have a heckofa lot of free time there...
They wouldnt talk to you, and you wouldnt be allowed in.
Even if they did talk to you, all they would say is that the servers are not under their control.
Which is fair enough, but I cant beleive they cant contact anyone about it. A load of dedicated servers for one of their biggest games in their name, and they are unable to do anything about it?
Either stupidity or ignorance.
i see you speak from experence....wait, i already knew that. try to think of it in these terms:
1. On the internet, you dont even exist; you can be ignored, and no one will care.
2. when you're one the phone, you are harder to ignore. you have a voice. they know there is a human behind it. however, they have tactics to get you off the line. they will ignore you, leave you on hold for hours, until you finaly give up.
3. if you show up in person, you are a company's worst nightmare. you are unexpected; who the hell goes across the country, maybe even the world, to complain about a video game? you cannot be ignored or simply dismissed in the same way you are over the internet or on the phone
4. you've seen the pictures of bungie's new building. none of them featured a doorman...
