What the hell is a signature?

After Halo 2, I'm sue that a lot of people wanted to fly the pelican. Then Halo 3 came out. No Pelican. Forge was a great place to put the pelican, because if like 8 people died in the pelican, nne of the kills counted towards xp. Then it wasn't in Reach. Can someone please explain to me why Bungie never put the pelican in Forge? I have no idea.

pelican wasn't there then.
y it's not in forge is it's too strong. Missiles, turret. I don't think so, maybe one day though they'll make it suitable.

Yes it is spelt like that on purpose.

As cool as it would be to have it, from a gameplay prospective it would be way to overpowered. Not to mention the resources it would suck up in game would be rediculous. Remember what the fire grenades and flamethrower could do to a game is H3? Just imagine what one or more pelicans would do, that would be one laggy game.

There would have to be a new map (as big as forge world) that the entire area is a map, with bulidings, etc. throughout the entire map with Scorpions, Warthogs, etc.

Also: Missles could be very limited, and the turret could be down-graded to a warthog turret.

That would be the ONLY map even remotely considerable for one throughout Halo's history other than the island map back in Halo: CE (PC).

No new games, catching up with the world, and filling it with the name of SpazDragon, the dragon with a spas-12.

Hopefully in the future when they expand the size of servers(30-30 or 50-50), and make a balance for it, it will work.

The pelican was there. Just not in campaign for some reason.

the pelican was not put in forge for 1 too big,2 the falcon is basically a smaller pelican and there is no point since u wouldnt be able to carry anyone so it would be just like the falcon only bigger and if u want to fly 1 just do the easter egg on the chopper mission

People can spout balance issues all they want, but they can all be fixed.

The real reason that a Pelican is not in Halo is because it is simply too resource heavy. Don't ask me why, as I am not a programmer, but when you consider the resources that something as relatively simple as a tank uses, it becomes easy to see how a complicated, large flying death-machine would be very heavy on the games engine.

However, I would like to point out that Pelicans were added to Halo:Custom Edition maps and were relatively balanced aside from a few glitches. If backyard programmers are able to create a working Pelican, I'm sure a professional group like Bungie could too.

The major difference is that computers are a lot more powerful than xboxes and games ran through servers rather than P2P like Xbox, so the effect on the internet connection could be the biggest issue.

mainly its because the pelican was never used in campaign apart from the cool easter egg in new alexandria, and its a bit too big to use (even in forge world) and its not actually meant to be used in any halo games

The pelican in campaign had awkward controls.. but nevertheless, we got to fly it!
