Swearing is nothing unless you are father of a 10 year old.
Or if you're polite. I agree with halosopher, for all of the hype it could have (and should have) been good. Instead it's lame I.M.O.
Polite? Is Roosterteeth insulting someone with their rather moderate use of curse words?
From what I remember, they don't make racial slurs or slurs based on -blam!-ity. (Ummm...okay...errr...based on the category that classifies one as either straight or not straight? I don't know.)
Personally, I consider being overly-PC to be impolite. It offends me.
4 letter words galore is hardly moderate. There is nothing clever about swearing and most definitely nothing funny about it. RvB is an example of how low humour has sunk. I didn't even find the non-sweary lines (for example "Puma") amusing anyway.*shrugs*
Well newsflash buddy, most people swear.
In day to day conversations, when people are among friends they swear more than in any series of rvb.
And i'm pretty sure you haven't seen much of it, I mean your example of one of their great "non-sweary" lines was from 2003.
RvB is a smart and clever series which blends Halo with real life conversation, and it's an example of how good humor can be even when it comes from ordinary people.
If you honestly have a problem with it, there's this god awful television show called icarly you should try watching.
It's totally g rated, and most of the humor is pie throwing and girls shouting buzz words at a camera.
Enjoy!
