No new games, catching up with the world, and filling it with the name of SpazDragon, the dragon with a spas-12.
Some of you may or may not like it and constructive criticism is excepted, as well as coming up with a title :P. I was inspired to write a fan-fic after reading lot's of other people's.[Note: I had no idea the idea should go into the gallery or Bungie: Universe forum] I guess I'll give it a go.
A young Sangheili is found in a mysterious forerunner facility inside a slipspace tube by a group of covenant forces. One of his eyes has a suspicious forerunner glyph, the same on his back. The group leader, Hia Nomad'ee, claims the child and names him Ki.
Throughout time, the Sangheili grown past the Great Schism, during which, he was a warrior at the age of 17 human years. The covenant(both Separatist and Loyalist) have settled and the humans still continue their search for the Master Chief. All is calm and quiet in the galaxy. Everyone lives a normal life.
Sadly, the covenant Separatist don't know when to stop looking for Forerunner and Precursor artifacts, and manage to reach a an unnamed shield world, and start a dig sight. A complex is found, and what the covenant find is something they least expected.
The entire complex is filled with inoperable forerunner sentinels and robots. The covenant accidentally reactivates the technology, but aren't heard from since. Ki and a group of Sangheili are called to investigate.
They fight a number of sentinels, and attempt to shut the rest down. One of the Sangheili, however, foolishly activates the ENTIRE shield world. The group and Ki flees.
They return to the main covenant and human's force's leaders, but it's to late. The robots beat them to the Covenant Loyalist main worlds, wiping out most of them, and the humans and covenant separatist are severely crippled. The sentinels are unstoppable, having adapted shielding technology stronger then those found on Onyx.
Their ship is attacked by some of the sentinels. However, this is when Ki's natural instincts kick in. With a flick of a wrist, he destroys a sentinel guardian(ground based sentinel) by pulling it apart along the middle. The alien power was repeatable when he concentrated.
After the ship conflict, strangely enough, ONI contacts him and requests that he be trained. He accepts. He is informed and trained, and a wide range of powers is revealed every conflict. He can corrupt, EMP, overload, rip apart, and rebuild forerunner and precursor technology, specifically sentinels.
Ki and the rest are are kidnapped by a sliver of the covenant separatists and imprisoned(they believe that the sangheili were to blame for the overall conflict, which it kind of was). many of Sangheili commit suicide under the concern for their family's honor, and the remaining later take over the ship.
The next slipspace coordinates that was still in the system was towards an anonymous slip-space jump, and the Sangheili were unable to abort the jump. This leads them another Halo: Installation 06(really unsure, whichever is described as a tundra/glacier type).
They investigate the ring for answers(being careful not to lead another outbreak of the flood). They unexpectedly find the forerunner AI, 5281 Anonymous Seeker, who explains to them the future possible outbreak of sentinels who reacted as a fail-safe if the rings weren't fired, but not as effective. She(yes, SHE) explains to Ki the purpose of his powers, and how he was bred as a prototype against the forerunner sentinels, created by a extinct group of forerunners who rebelled and placed him inside the slipspace tube(people freeze in time in the tube; the idea came out of my butt along with the fact it was already used by Wolverfrog(except it contained a forerunner...ELF!!!))
The group find the Index and the Control room, but instead of firing it, they use it to enter the ring into slipspace and fly to Earth. Ki uses his powers to change the way the ring fired, by instead making it sling an EMP shockwave across the forerunner sentinel swarm. But does it work?
The rest is left for you to find out. This is going to be(maybe) my first Halo fan-fic, and I maybe need some constructive criticism, if it is needed.
God, my fingers hurt.
