When I play Halo: Reach, I get the feeling a lot of it is less an evolution of the mechanics present in Halo 3, and more of a precursor to what lies ahead.
The Long of Night Solace is the best example.
An example of what?
A boring space fight that got dragged out and was seriously overhyped.
Or beach assaults that required no innovative gameplay.
Ahhh maybe it was the terrible story shift towards the typical, leave me behind to activate the bomb, without using a ship full of solider's reinforcement nearby to assist.
Yeah i see what you mean, if this is a precursor to what lies ahead, count me out.
