Bacon for all !!!!!!!!!!!111111111111

In Cryptum a prisoner (the last precusor) is mentioned and the book says that he told the people guarding his "cell" things that made them, i believe , commit suicide. What do think he said?

Bobcast is paid in MILF blind dates.

Since they comitted suicide after asking about the Flood, something like: "You have not followed the Mantle and will be punished". IDK

No connection between them commiting suicide and the Didact mentioning them committing suicide not to fall in the hands of the Forerunners?

The Prisoner might have warned the humans about neither surviving the Flood AND the Forerunners....

I'll remain a soldier until the war is won.

Heh, obviously somthing terrible.
What could be so horrible tha tyou would commit suicide.... that the flood is of their own makeing? Their gods and belifes are faulse?
Obviously somthing reality shattering.

My Dream DLC Post.

You like it? Reply!

'Your wife plans to kill you.'

On a serious note, I'd say something like: 'No one likes you. You'll die cold, alone, lying in bed.'

Okay, so not really a serious note.

Do you know what kind of hat I'm wearing?

A party hat; you don't get one. An honor will this party be, a party in your honor, for your honor. Some of Tfear's personal guards are going to be there. You'll be introduced shortly.

Prepare to die.

My hypothesis is that the precursor has limited telekinetic abilities since precursors are tier 0 creatures.

So according to me, he used this power to scan the humans brain and used mankind's worst fear against the one who tried to communicate with him.

that fear was triggered by singing justin biebers song.

Perhaps that even if you beat the flood, it will just come back again and again because it actually infests most of the galaxies in the universe already. That would be fairly depressing

Or maybe he told then that he had summoned the flood after humans had awakened/disturbed him, so they realised they'd brought about their own destruction.

Hmm. Not quite satisfied with those answers though.

"Find where the liar hides, so that I may place my boot between his gums!" - Rtas 'Vadum

It sort of reminded me of an old Deathtrap Dungeon story. A group of alchemists who discovered the meaning of life. It was so horrific that they were driven insane and took their secrets to the grave. Quite freaky.

Anyway, I doubt we will ever find out. I doubt the author would be able to think up something that creepy, and I doubt he would allow folk to read it even if he did because, you know, you would commit suicide. If it is not scary enough, then readers will think "Huh, that was not so bad!". It would ruin it.

It has to be something that makes death favourable, so I doubt it is something nihilistic like "Oh ho har har there is no afterlife for you!". Maybe something about life itself, or the truth about the Mantle? I donno, I'm just brainstorming things here. Or maybe, like somebody said, he is telepathic and just ruined peoples minds.

When the going gets tough, whine and groan and complain, then post a thread on the flood about how tough the going is and flame anyone who disagrees.
