I could list many that were already mentioned, so instead I'll mention a few unknowns.

joeybagadonuts, the only guy whose misspelled posts I actually bother to spend time reading. Sledgefare, for some random thing he did back in the Old Crapness. Tanikaze, for being a "new, good member". Ashwalker, for his well-informed and often funny posts in just about every forum. And lastly, jophus1, for his unforgettable line, "i am dumd".

I'm rather disappointed that all of those members hardly bother with this place anymore, but whatever.

Explination.

You've got to love the Germans and their incredible knack for naming rivers to fit every situation.

Tanikaze - Not unknown, by any means. What ever happened to him?

Well, I hear there is this thing outside of B.net. A place where people kill each other, argue, fight, bicker, and destroy. Most of them are greedy, and not all that nice to you at all. You even have to be responsible for your actions and make a decent living out of all the madness. Why anyone would dare even go there is beyond me.

You know, if you actually take a look at RL every once in awhile, the so called problems with B.net seem rather small and insignificant.

Officium quod Fidelitas.

Matt, Mrsmiley, Gruntsbane, Banshee Baron, Dark Halo, Kappin (and all his names), gholsbane, Halo 53 and Reiginko.

That's all I can think of off the top of my head, it's hard remembering back past 2004.

Wtf Banshee?

That was totally uncalled for, I was just wondering why the guy vanished all of the sudden, as in maybe he was injured and I missed it. If you're saying that I should get a life, it was a waste of energy doing so considering I already have one. I thought you were better than that.

You think I don't know that, eh? You're sadly mistaken, friend. Though I won't get into why, I quite possibly know it more than you.

With B.B. gone, the passion of Bungie.net has lessened.

Oh, and JeffMcRae, Nos, Jay132, NormL, and WrathofAchilles.

Looks like someone got up on the wrong side of the bed this morning.

I have this odd habit of going off subject at inoppurtune times. (See: My second Paragraph in previous post.)

Secondly, I'm not always trying to attack you. (See: My first Paragraph in previous post.) No, the CIA isn't spying on you either, and we actually did land on the moon. I was just offering a possible explanation of why he left. In hindsight, I probably shouldn't have even linked your post, it made it look like I was out to get you, my friend.

And for the record, as for "life knowledge" is concerned, we both know we know more than the other one, so we'll just let that little misdemeanor slide, won't we?

Ah, so it was a simple misunderstanding. No problem then.

Funny, Captain K mart and I had a similar argument to this one. He said in a thread that some of us needed to go outside, I retorted, and we had a contest on whom was recieving the most demanding physical activity. We finally agreed that everyone else but the two of us, jokingly of course, was a fatass who needed to go jog. Good times. So yes, we can let that bit go.

I can really only think of a two guys that I think had not only an impact on the forums, but an impact on me.

- Gods Prophet

For getting me better sorted in the ways of the communtiy outside of Bungie.net [And I should also mention, his adding me to his friends list so I could tag along to play with the likes of Tazmainian Dude, Yoozle & VII Toast...great times]

- Reacon Number 54

When I was a nobbie I made a post that was stupidly placed. I placed an idea I had about the community in the zanzibar forum. At the time Reacon came and moved my post, very polietly adding the comment:

"Being a new user I am not sure if you know this so I will outline it for you. This post belongs in the Septegon, a fourm for discussion of improving the site. I will move this thread there. I should warn you though it may be flamed. "

And flamed it was.

This was back in the days where a vast majourity of people who contibuted alot to the site were acting very elitest towrds the newer users brought in by the upcoming game Halo 2.

However Reacon came back to the topic and made his evaluation, before telling the flamers to calm down a bit.

This was what set me on the path to good user ship, and I thank him for it.

There ya go

-Toji Karume

[Edit: of course all of these were under my old account]

Don't feel bad. Nobody can even remember my name. They just call me KD. *sobs*

I remember all of those old flood members. They were there when I first joined. Good times.

Excellent.

That jerk up there, focused7, was the first person I respected on these forums; so he would be considered "memorable" for me.
