Is there a rule against busybodying, on these forums?

Eh? What do you mean by "busybodying"? If that means telling people the rules or that their post is in the wrong forum, then no, the mods actually encourage it.

Well, yes. I am okay with that every once in awhile, but this particular busybodier has gotten out of hand, in my and a couple others' opinions.
As a regular in Zanzibar, when I complain about flaming, you know it's bad.

Well if it's flaming, then you should talk to a mod about it because that's not allowed. But if somebody is being polite and respectful, then it shouldn't be a problem.

As for it "getting out of hand", many people have thought that about people who have tried to help, and in several instances those "busybodies" have later become mods.

Just report it to a mod. The amount of people that go on power trips here is unbelievable. P.S. are you talking about bat5280?
