It's 1000 pounds and that's 1800 to 1900 US dollars I think. Scotland Yard is currently seeking Spartan012's whereabouts in connection with a London bank robbery. SLD still has you in the GPU catagory his 7800 GTX is the best out there right now. SLD is wanted by the FBI for a string of bank robberies!

Whoah...

Lol, definately beat me out with the CPU. I got mine for OC'ing purposes, though, and the 3000+/3200+ are almost guaranteed to hit 3800/4000 speeds. But still, an X2 - if you've seen that performance graph I made, you know that the 4400+ is one of the fastest CPU's out there. Not to mention that the graph shown only shows the utilization of one core - you'll still have another to do something like encode a movie! Ooo - new LCD monitor, too. I guess I'm getting behind the times with monitors, I've got a 6 year-old VAIO :P

That's a pretty killer pc, dude. Not to mention the case looks really classy. And trust me, you'll notice a huge difference between 1GB of RAM and 2GB of RAM on games like F.E.A.R. and Battlefield 2. My guess is you'll be hitting 70+ frames per second with everything set to maximum, high res, AA/AF, the whole works.

you made a graph?! gah. I'm really behind the times. Though for computer science we had to design a $3000 computer and we could build one online using custom parts and I made the most SWEET computer ever. My writeup was so detailed and understandable that not only did I get perfect but he used it as an example in class ;) Instead of going for the dual core I instead got the AMD FX55 Socket 939, 1 Gb of FSB, the second best single core, cause I looked into the whole dual core technology but in terms of what the computer would be designed for (high performance gaming) most games don't even utilise dual cores so I thought the FX would be better worth it. Also for video cards I went with the best, 7800GTX, sweet. now only if I could afford a rig like that....

I'm suprised you haven't decided to get a Sound Blaster X-fi card. I'm telling you, it's a hell of a lot better sounding than the onboard, and it will boost performance even further.

5000 duckets...damn, it should still be a nice machine. I bought mine about three years ago and it plays Halo like a champ, (on low res. though.)
Post your pc's spec's, I would like to see. I plan on building a nice gaming pc soon and would like to see some other people's combination's. But I only plan on spending about 2500.00 on just the tower.

Peace

Yep, i haven't built it, me and my dad speced it. If you ask me, over here its a very good offer for a PC. And yes, we looked at some charts and stuff in this magazine, they tested the whole CHIP range, and that chip is on of the best chips out there according to the results. So yeah it is a KILLER PC lol.
