There is a closed thread that had the OP giving out high resolution versions of the posters' emblems that were made high res in Photoshop. He made hundreds of high res versions of Halo 3 emblems during the time the thread was not locked.

Here's what I'm saying: I can't figure out specifically how he, the OP, was able to do this in the program Photoshop. I really want to know sure I may make my own emblem high res. Problem is the OP hasn't been online since November of last year, so I really have nobody to PM or ask about this issue, so that is why I'm posting on the forums.

If anyone knows how to make low res Halo 3 emblems high res in Photoshop (i.e., from this, to this), or even turn my Halo 3 emblem into a high res image, can you please PM me?

Also, I am encouraging any discussion on this topic. If there is anyone out there who can donate their time to making high res emblems like the lad in the previously-mentioned thread did, that would also be greatly appreciated.

Using the pen tool in Adobe Photoshop, I traced/vector the shape of the helmet using the pic I use as my trophy shot, it's nothing but sharp corners and straight lines when I finish, so using the convert point tool, I fiddle with the lines of the shape to make curves, like the top of the helmet. I only vectored the left side of the helmet, this if because I'm unable to vector the right side exactly like I did the left. I then make a copy of the left side, flip it horizontally, and adjust it so it makes up the right side of the helmet. The 'holes' in the helmet like the visor and the holes on the side were also made using the pen tool, but using a different setting, where I can make empty spaces or shapes inside the shape I already made.

The heroic swords, or machete's I think they're better described as, I did the same thing, I vectored the one on the left first, made a copy of it, flipped the copy, and moved it so both machete's were crossed.

Seems like all he did was trace over the emblem with the pen tool, and made curves also to display curved lines and edges.

I'll have to look into this tomorrow, for I am heading to bed. I only want my emblem done for my YouTube channel. If I use the regular, low res version, it looks pixelated at times at certain view angles. I want the best quality I can possibly get for my headquarters.
