This week's update sucks, Imo.
Reading the new OXM scans on the web was far more interesting.
Not even 1 stinking picture, and lots of BS, with tiny sprinklings of game info. Bungie superfanatics might find it fascinating (what some Bungie marketing guy wants to see at E3), but not me.
:/

Here's the info, sans BS -
1. Halo2 will have something "neat" to show at E3.
2. The multiplayer spawning rules were tuned a bit.
3. In-game waypoints; you’ll know much more about your teammates and what they’re up to in the field, but without any of that annoying text cluttering up your screen. (?)
4. " Oh F***, I almost forgot we were doing some cool -blam!- with transitions between animations this week…"
5. A Halo1 MC animation was improved.

Overwhelmed, aren't you?
>:P

C'mon E3...!!!

Well the next update will probably be the best one yet.

Edit: Well what I mean by that is E3...

Electronice Entertainment Expo. Big freaking game convention that happens every year. Nearly every gaming company participates. Think of a car show, but for games instead....but you can't buy the games sadly.

The weekly updated is posted at the Halo battleground website. I can't give you the link (I think) due to the restrictions, but go to HBO, and then in the middle of the home page, it will give you the link to the update.

This update was by no means the "worst update." I think it was one of the best yet.

Frankly, I think we should all be happy we get any sort of update at all, let alone every week.

I don't no what you guys are talking about.... Worst update??? This is the week before E3... We are lucky that Frankie didn't just say "Hey, E3 is next week you can find out what is going on then"... People need to understand that this is not a required service and it isn't a comon thing for companies to do for thier fans... So we should be happy that we get updates in the first place... So stop complaining about the lack of new information because that is not what the updates are for... They are just to keep us up to date on the information that has already been released... It isn't to realease new information....

WOW, it seems that Bungie has spoiled some of us fans... they show you a screenshot, then you expect a screenshot EVERY week... give em a break....

a.) Very few companies give away any information on their upcoming games. Bungie gives us new things every week.

b.) Do you want the entire damn storyline for Halo 2?! Every plot twist and secret?! I think not. So dont ask for more then you can handle.

c.) With E3 in one week, we really dont need much information before hand. Thonk of what happened last year...

-S

What I don't think people understand, is that the weekly update is a weekly BUNGIE update more than a weekly Halo 2 update.

So, if you're not interested in Bungie, then the weekly update does not apply to you.

A very common misunderstanding about the 7th column in general: A fan of Bungie is interested in much more than just a single game.
