For Carnage Apply Within - We played Marathon before Marathon was cool!

Keep it authentic...

You have to beat the Halo 2 campaign to unlock the multiplayer map Foundation. (I don't know if it had to be at least normal or on any difficulty) I am wondering if you have Foundation and are playing with someone (at a LAN party or over XBC) who doesn't have it will it say "Players failed to load content"?

This is actually the stupidest thing ever posted on B.net:

Why does everyone hate Halo 2? Maybe its because its the worst game ever next to mario.

Foundation was made available to everyone in the first patch. So I'm guessing as long as they downloaded the first autoupdate they should have the map.

I am not 100% though.

This is the average H2 Fanboy.

50 in H2/H3? Great, but you still fail at this.

It will load. Even if you are hosting games for mexicans on kai.

It's called disc locked content.

It has been quite some time, but I'm quite confident in saying that as long as one player has the map unlocked and selects it as the party leader, it should load just fine for everyone else regardless of who has what on their console.

The map is on the disc and fully functional, just originally hidden from use until a certain player milestone unlocks it on the profile. Failure to load a map file would in theory only result in a scratched disc, lack of downloadable content or hard drive failure, at least in Halo 2's case.

edit: darnit, JacobG!
