[sarcasm] thanks chickenlittle for posting, you are definately contributing to the forums in the best way possible [/sarcasm]

Anyways to answer you questions kyber punk, Xbox Connect (or XBC for short) is a program (often called a tunnel program) that allows you to play halo: combat evolved, or any other game with system link capability to be able to play with other people who have XBC over the internet. It's like a giant LAN but with people across the nation (or planet). You can download XBC at http://www.xbconnect.com, it's completely compatable with halo CE and it is completely free to download and use. If you have any more questions about XBC or how to set up your Xbox and computer so it can use XBC you can PM me on bungie, or message me on msn messanger (sn is angrysk8r@hotmail.com, or email me there as well). You can also visit http://www.xbconnect.com/help if you have any other questions and I'm not available to help.
And to answer you last question, no, there will never be a Halo CE live edition, bungie is too busy on their other projects to to remake an old game.

Sighness

Indubidubly. Banana.

What is Xbox Connect?

XBox Connect is a program you download on your PC to be able to play Halo CE online. Not necessarily 'Live' but it tricks your Xbox into thinking it's enterign a system link game....but with people around the world.

Where do I get Xbox Connect?

You can download it for free at www.xbconnect.com or something....someone provided it above =p

Can I play Halo: Combat Evolved on it?

For sho', bro. =p And I think there may be other Non-Livable games you can play too, not sure.

How much is Xbox Connect?

There's two options IIRC, one is to DL the free one and one is you pay a certain amount for it and you'll get a 'better' connected XBC or something. Can't remember but I do know there's a free one there.

Whoops, forgot to answer this one =p

Will there ever be a Halo: CE Live edition of the game?

Nope. For that to happen they'd have to decode and recode everything on Halo CE to do this, and I don't think they can do that. Can't remember why. But you can rest assure they will never be a Halo CE Live game.

you can buy XBC pro for $15 and have some extra features, but it wont be any faster or better connencted than the free version of XBC
