I'm not going to just say "BLAH BLAH BLAH they should remake it" or "Halo 1>2".
I am basing my argument to the fact that they are still selling Halo: Combat Evolved
Go into any gamestore, target, wal-fart, best buy, they are ALL still selling Halo 1.
Why?
Because there is still a market for it.
And this Halo 1 isnt excatly the same halo 1 we all bought when we first got our xboxs.
The Game Demos arent there, but in its place are preview videos and documenterys about Halo 2.
So obvoiusly, sometime in Halo 2 development they took out the normal Game Demos and put these videos on the disk
In addition, the image of the master chief on the beach on sidewinder, which is on the CD, is a mirror image (flipped) of the older cd.
I'm not asking for a "Remake", a "redo", or anything like that.
I want the normal version of Halo: CE that everybody has, Online enabled. Still sell it for the plaitnum hits $20 or add an extra $30 price tag to cover the cost of making the code for xbox live. It's NOT a remake, a Redo, or anything to cover for Halo 2, only something in addition to Halo 2. I LOVE halo 2, and I love halo 1 equally. I'm no Halo 2 basher nor Halo 1 basher. Halo 1=Halo 2 for me. It would be sweet to play Halo: CE on live. I'm not even asking for DLC or anything. Just a normal matchmaking, something Bungie wont have to manage (like they do Halo 2) so they can work on their next project. ANd no, i'm not trying to live in the past, because I do recognize that Bungie has to work on their next project (Halo 3 maybe?) so I'm not sure if they would have time to do this. However, I know that while gearbox did most of the stuff for Halo PC, Bungie still had a hand in it. I know you will probably all say, "We dont want to remake/revist the old game we need to look to the future!" I'm not suggesting a "remake". Only add an online feature. Then watch two of the top ten games on XBL be Halo 2 as well as Halo: CE.
