Hi I am currently working on a neat little halo video with my friends but there is one problem we ran into. The camera man cant have any weapons out. This is an obvious problem as we cant very well have the inter video have an arm or two sticking out in front of the camera. So I ask; dose anyone know of a mod that allows you to disarm all you weapons so that your arms are to your side. Any info would be greatly appreciated.[Edited on 12/8/2005]
Well, I looked around, but all I was able to find was that in Halo 2 if you have a plasma pistol charged up and you pick up the oddball, you'll drop both. I have no idea if this works for Halo PC though...

Red vs. Blue uses a mod to point the weapons at the ground. I'm not a modder so I don't know where to find it. Try the Gearbox forums, they have lots of modders over there.
use bitterbanana's flycam for camera work instead

If you're using Custom Edition there should be a console command you can use to turn off first person weapons.
k..oh and for RvB i dont think they use a mod for the urleyer halo 1 versieons.... all u do is aim strait down you will only b able to see the ground but to others you weapon id pointed strait down but your head is looking forward.
how do you apply the mod to the old map ( I know you put it in the map file ) but how do you replace it.
RvB doesn't use mods, the "look down and your head goes up" is part of Halo. But the RvB method of putting black bars over the gun and health is a good idea, at least I think it would be eaiser than modding.
Posted by: Jay 117how do you apply the mod to the old map ( I know you put it in the map file ) but how do you replace it.Each map comes with its own modifications. If you want to have a map that has certain mods, you have to make it yourself. I do not know if there is a simple way to make mods to custom made maps. I assume you are talking about CE?
no im talking about regular Halo PC
well im not talking about how to make it so the actors wepons r pointed down i all redy know that trick but i need it so the video person has his weapon down but can still look strait ahead and not see the ground...
