You know what I mean when I say import them. Very few series run without getting a dvd treatment, fewer still without english subs. Those ones are fair game, but any remotely desirable franchise yet to be lisenced in NA is still someone's intellectual property. The lines between our arguments is getting a bit hazy, as is inevitable regarding all matters of international law., so I'm going to have to end this.
You are indeed correct in the sense that it is legal in NA and little is really lost (to a degree), but I stand by my conviction that it is as immoral as music piracy when you could spend a little extra and not deny the creators compensation on something that may never reach these shores.
And truthfully, if anime like Naruto did ever make it here, would you still buy it after watching the sub?
