Well no C-C-C-C-COMBOBREAKER!'s yet, seems like this would be a good idea.

I am a practicing traditional Catholic.

Yes, I would really like them to make a Halo RPG.

No, I mean this looked bad, thank god it didn't go through.
Look at the 3rd pic down first collum, just nasty.

I can't see it working at all, not with Halo anyway.

A Halo MMORPG sounds like it might be fun in concept, but I don't think guns would really work too good in that style of gameplay. So even though my first urge was to say "Heck Yeah!" I'd have to go with no after some consideration.

the reason that i haven't ranked up anymore in H3 is simple.
if im general and lose a single game, i will get about 20 messages asking me how much i paid for the 50 on ebay.
if im brigadier, i would get messages saying, cant get a 50, noob?

it could work, something like that starwars world of warcraft mash which name i have forgot. problem would be that spartans and elites would be only option as races because they have better armor, or make something like jackal, marine, grunt, rebel and other things, but it could work and i would buy it as fast as i could.

CoD is a good game, even if the Halo series are better in some aspects. Anyone who insults either is just bad in that game. Grow up.

OP, do you mean MMORPG or RPG? IMO both would suck. RPG games won't do the "super soldiers feeling" justice, with or without monsters that take a billion hits to go down or 50 other "super soldiers" running around you at all times. No thank you.

Vengeance only leads to an ongoing cycle of hatred.

I'd probably buy any Halo game for the story.

The Razor.

For the honour of the Mirratord.

Simple solution: don't have the main characters as Spartans.

Marines would be far more interesting anyway.

That'd be like playing Mass Effect 2 with a soldier class and without abilities/shields. Not that interesting either.

I'd buy any RPG so long as it was exceptionally well done.

A Halo RPG would be great. It'd add a new level of storytelling to the Halo franchise.

Funfact: a lot of the features in Star Wars: The Old Republic are there directly because the Halo MMORPG got canned, most specifically the fast paced combat system and taking cover.

That'd be like playing Mass Effect 2 with a soldier class and without abilities/shields. Not that interesting either.

Assuming the game would have a carbon copy gameplay sustem of Mass Effect. Or by extension, Gears of War.

Keep an open mind. I didn't think I'd like Halo Wars but its what got me into the concept of RTS

If somebody's opinion is being smashed and nobody's helping, I try and help. I use logic and extensive vocabulary (and sometimes self-destructive circular reasoning) to confuse my enemies into submission. Fear me, trolling, fapping creatures of the night. For I. Am your worst nightmare.

To the OP: Well, for First Person it worked quite well with Borderlands, and for Third Person, Mass Effect 2 did a perfect job. So it might work with Halo. Hell, maybe 343 (Or Microsoft) could let Bioware do a Halo version of Mass Effect.

It worked for Halo Wars (Dont start -blam!-ing, people hated it because they say that Halo was supposed to be a FPS, not a RTS. Most never even gave it a chance).

I concede. Although I do not trust where the halo franchise is going ever since Reach, if they manage to churn out a mass-effect-esque action RPG, they can potentially revive the series. MMORPG, however, would most likely still fail.

The Snow Leopard's wisdom includes: Understanding one's shadow-side; trusting one's inner-self; agility; strength; the ability to stalk; understanding the power of silence.

RPG? Yes, definitely.

MMORPG? Maybe, not too sure.

Hey.

I'm awkward. Do you want to be awkward together?

...

That was nice.

I'd like an RPG if it were told from the perspective of an Elite, starting from the start of the Human-Covenant war, until the end when you're a battle hardened veteran and get to make huge decisions and control an entire fleet. Think of it like Mass Effect 1, but more dynamic and you develop your class throughout your career from a blank canvass, and develop it with your playstyle in each mission.
