if by stealth you mean making the level interactable, such as shooting out lights, stleath is fine. however if by stealth as in splinter cell, sticking to walls and such than that would be horrible. halo is fps/action genre not stealth/action/fps like splinter cell. splintercell is good, even going back to the days of old tenchu that is good, but there is a trend in games with stealth, the action is horrible. when you get caught your melee attack is worthless. did you ever get into a fight in splinter cell? its like sam fisher is trying to mimic the mortal combat uppercut.
i recently played a first person shooter that had martial arts in it along with a backflip and side roles. in my oppion that is obsurd. your there to shoot someone in the head mainly, not rolling on the floor dodging bullets. i hate in videogames how when you back against walls you see a 3rd person shot of a guy and around the corner that you arnt looking down.
