Subject: Johnson how is he alive from halo one wtf

If somebody's opinion is being smashed and nobody's helping, I try and help. I use logic and extensive vocabulary (and sometimes self-destructive circular reasoning) to confuse my enemies into submission. Fear me, trolling, fapping creatures of the night. For I. Am your worst nightmare.

how did johnson get back to earth from halo i mean WTF how

*MINOR SPOILER*

This is a quote from Halopedia: There is much speculation as to whether the Flood attempted to infect Johnson but he was able to shrug off the effects due to the complications of his Boren's Syndrome, or if he was never infected at all and simply fought his way out. The Halo Graphic Novel story Breaking Quarantine, as well as page 122 of the same book, seems to indicate he was never infected, though it may have occurred before the story began.

Eheh. No.

First off, that was the supposed explanation to write off his immunity to Flood neurosynthesis (it was really his experimental augmentations from Project ORION). That doesn't explain how he got off the Halo.

He hitched a ride with WO Polaski, Lt. Haverson, and Cpl. Locklear. Read First Strike for the entire thing.

Sorry, I more answered the topic, rather than the question :p Probably should've answered the OP instead.

But it wasnt the ex. augmentations from ORION that gave him Boron's syndrome, it was the fact that he was exposed to a high dose of radiation from a chain reaction of Plasma Grenade explosions.

The legendary ending is not canon, he got off in a Pelican.
One might say the Legendary ending is canon, and the Pelican came by and picked up Johnson in that small piece of time.
that sounds impossible johnson and the elite were a few miles it would of killed them anyways; imagine a nuke being dropped in las vegas and your house is 5 miles away your still a dead man

It depends on the tonage of the nuke. If its an 8 megaton nuclear warhead you might survive, although be very severely injured. But if wer talking about a warhead in the region of 10 Gigatons, yeah your SOL.

It was neither. Johnson's escape from the Flood infested facility was retconned in the Graphic Novel. Bungie never liked the idea of an immunity to the Flood. Johnson was never actually touched by an infection form. The reason he didn't become infected is because he badassed his way out. Boren's Syndrome and the plasma exposure story are a cover for his augmentations and nothing more.

It had nothing to do with plasma exposure. That's just a cover up by ONI. Read First Strike and the Encyclopedia.

I know, I know. I've read all of the books at least three times, but being tired and posting at 2 a.m. doesn't really help :p..
