umm well... the numbers closely match a set of numbers on a bungie made website, which by the way i figured was a count down to some point, i calculated the number (it was counting by tens.. not by 6's as like 60 minutes= 1 hour) and the date i came up with was around december 20th. I may be wrong but im guessing its counting down to a release of information about bungies next project or such... so i hope this info helps a few people, and the show Lost is awesome XD

4.8.15.(06,16,26).23.42--v
199742:23:(06,16,26):15:840

199755:17:40:42:(000)
199742:23:16:15:(000)
12:14:24:27:(000)
or: 12 days, 14 hours, 24 minutes, 27 seconds till "announcement"
Friday Dec. 23, at 3:16 AM and 15 sec

Check www.ilovebees.com

PS: is there something special about the first 4 digits of the year? It’s 1997, next is 1996?
*the twilight zone music starts*

guess what guys?

that magic number is an IP ADDRESS, or internet protocol address. and for those of u hu dont kno wut that is, its a number that designates the location from where a computer accesses the internet. which means it has NOTHING to do with bungie's secret project. at best, it could be one of the addresses of the bungie work computers, but thats about it.

p.s.: if the hellboy director is signed to the halo movie, im gonna cry. and it wont be out of happiness

I might be in the wrong asking this here - who knows, but while out doing Christmas shopping today in the mall, there was a store called FYE (For your entertainment) who had a display up for Halo 3. They were apparently taking pre-orders for the game. When questioned, they had no release date (except for 2006) and no other information. Anybody seen any other stores taking orders for this release? I haven't heard anything about the game at all. Anyone else? Thanks.

These updates were so much better when they talked about the things bugnie was doing with halo 2 before it came out. Now there all the same.

It isn't an IP address. IP addresses tend to have 3 sections of numbers, 1-3 digits in each. From what I can see from this, the numbers are 4.8.15 6.23.42 (can't make out the numbers in the middle). That alone has 5 sections seperated by periods, so it can't point to an internet location.

1997 is the year marathon infinity right? well if i am right that means that halo 3 will somehow be affected by the events of destiny. so the numbers (proven by me to be bungie related) have a hidden meaning by telling us that the halo seris and marathon series are connected if only slightly
there are signs of this in halo such as the ramancy and the s'pht writing on loading screens.

I looked up some of the actors that they posted and not to be racial but Sgt. Johnson is black...and some say Cpt. Keyes is black (cause of the game) but following the book hes white. So send me a personal reply.

Why would it be an ip address? *though i should look at marathon infinity... there could be something important according to those numbers...*

Good to see you go Ninja on Fire. We need less people in Bungie who tell the fans to eat
-blam!- because we don't like their updates. Bungie isn't out there having fun and we are along for the ride. Their business exists to provide a service that most pay for and compete in for entertainment. Its amazing how fast people forget how they got that expensive car and TV. But I'm sure Ninja wouldn't leave an opertunity such as being on the bungie staff without somthing better in mind. It looks like he made out just fine and hopefully we as consumers will to with out Ninja's pessimism towards our views. Remember Bungie, yah you do make the updates, but we play the game, and if you scrue it up and ignore our comments than we will just play another game.

do not subvert the profanity filter

apologies, I'm new at this online lingo

For your information and to ensure that you get it right in the future.

An IP address is made up of four sets of numbers. these can be single digits to triple digits. The numbers currently used in IP addresses range from 0.0.0.0 to 255.255.255.255 .

For any further information feel free to do a search on the net for, " Internet Protocol"

Most search engines will have plenty of hit for it.

and now you know. Now don't you feel smarter.

sorry it was three in the morning... any who marathon does that to you...
ok the numbers 3, 7, and 10 are the tru7h numbers right so if the numbers can be found in something such as a name 343 GS as an example then it is very relevant to bungie. sort of a highlight. the numbers in the backround can be related to the tru7h numbers by doing certain formulae. these were established on Hamish's site, i diddn't make them up somebody else did... there tools if you will.
ok so the numbers are 4.8.15.16.23.42 right ok
so lets find the prime number of bungie...seven.
lets put the numbers together: 4815162342 k now lets cross out all digits that are listed more then once 4815623 now we have seven digits.

Now we need to find 10... that easy there were origanly 10 digits
4815162342 (10)

Three is a hard one though by adding all the numbers we get 108
now we can divide that by 3 to get 36, if we divide by three again we get 12
if we add the digits together we have 3.
since it has all the tru7h numbers we may say that it is both relevant to
a) bungie
b) halo
c)marathon as my the other guy said 1996/97 that was the year time got altered in marathon Infinity

Give a man a fish, feed him for a day.
Teach a man to fish, feed him for a lifetime.
Teach a man religion, and he will starve to death praying for a fish.

Your character picks are pretty good... but I have 3 changes to make.

Chief - put anyone in the suit but have Steve Downes do the voice, (after all, he IS Master Chief).

Cortana - Jessica Alba. I think she looks a lot like Cortana.

Sgt. Johnson has to be Samuel L. Jackson or Laurence Fishburne.
