guess what guys?

that magic number is an IP ADDRESS, or internet protocol address. and for those of u hu dont kno wut that is, its a number that designates the location from where a computer accesses the internet. which means it has NOTHING to do with bungie's secret project. at best, it could be one of the addresses of the bungie work computers, but thats about it.

It isn't an IP address. IP addresses tend to have 3 sections of numbers, 1-3 digits in each. From what I can see from this, the numbers are 4.8.15 6.23.42 (can't make out the numbers in the middle). That alone has 5 sections seperated by periods, so it can't point to an internet location.

For your information and to ensure that you get it right in the future.

An IP address is made up of four sets of numbers. these can be single digits to triple digits. The numbers currently used in IP addresses range from 0.0.0.0 to 255.255.255.255 .

For any further information feel free to do a search on the net for, " Internet Protocol"

Most search engines will have plenty of hit for it.

and now you know. Now don't you feel smarter.

All Hail the HypnoToad.

I meant four sections. And that's not even the point, the point is that it can't be an IP address since it has five sections. The fact that I have better grammar means nothing you say will make me feel smarter, by the way. Have fun with your search engines and their plenty of hit.

im not trying to doubble post, but i think this is improtant...
Posted by me earlier...
umm well... the numbers closely match a set of numbers on a bungie made website, which by the way i figured was a count down to some point, i calculated the number (it was counting by tens.. not by 6's as like 60 minutes= 1 hour) and the date i came up with was around december 20th. I may be wrong but im guessing its counting down to a release of information about bungies next project or such... so i hope this info helps a few people, and the show Lost is awesome XD

PS: is there something special about the first 4 digits of the year? It’s 1997, next is 1996?

EDIT: Fixed the date, one day off...

I changed the date to the proper day and time ^^

Dangit, can Rob upload his Warthog design to the Lego site? That's really cool. I'd give him ten bucks for it. And a cookie.
