For the past while ( at least 2 weeks) i've been working on a 3 part in-depth article for Halo: Combat Evolved and Halo 2. After looking through several magazines, websites, the Bungie site, interviews, FAQs, videos, etc. I've finally finished it. Since the game is only about 3 months or so away each article will come out about a month after the previous so the final piece will come out around 2 weeks or so before release.

This is the official Bungie forum so it would mean a lot to get the input of fellow Halo fans here. I by no mean to violate any rules that may exist here regarding "advertising" other sites, although my intention is not to advertise. I'm a large Halo fan myself and it would mean a lot to hear what people here, the Grand Central of halo fans, have to say. Many of you may already know a lot of this information however if you've been around the Bungie site, due to the main source of information (and only truely creditable one) being the Bungie site itself.

Article link

If people like it i'll put up the link to Pt. 2 when it's up in about a month from now which will be much more diverse in terms of where the information came from.

Well i'm anxious to hear what you people think :)

That was awfully good, I'd like to read more of what there is. I wasn't aware of Halo's platinum status, however.

Thanks for liking it people! Hopefully more people post comments, both good and bad. Either help a lot. As for the platinum status... it is not on the Xbox "Platinum Games List" althought it has sold over a million copies, which is anywhere between 4-2 times as many as other games on that list. Blood Wake, Crash Bandicoot, Finding Nemo.... etc... The game is still selling however and from a marketing stand-point there really shouldn't be a reason why it should be marked down for less that what it is currently. The Platinum Status reference isn't in the literal sense, but the fact that if you walk down a Hallway at school, an Isle at the mall, anywhere, and say "HALO" fairly loud but not screaming it.... there will be several people that will spin around and wonder why you just mentioned the video game ;)
