On 343 Guilty ... something, you can chuck a grenade at the beginning of the level and you will stay on the pelican. The pelican then flies to a place that is grassy and on high, unreachable grounds, where you gett off. Then, if you travel far enough, you can see a soldier called Mandez (Anyone heard of him?) He's just standing there, and you can kill him. PM me for questions on how to get there.

Any. At the begginning, repeadidly hold down the grenade button until you throw one. Don't press X. When you get off, explore to the left of where hte pelican is facing. Mandez is only 2 minutes away.

Well this is kinda hella old, but if you don't know you don't know right? All you do is hold the grenade button starting from when the opening cinematic (the one with the jackals and grunts fleeing) begins. You end up staying in the Pelican and end up crashing on the rim of the level.

If you get out of the Pelican and walk away from it (without dropping back into the level), you will eventually meet up with a random dude just standing there. Not sure why.

Yes, if you read the Halo books you will know who he is. In the book he is just standing there staring because he was one of the first humans to encounter the flood.

Kind of off topic, but in 343, when you reach the structure, a shade blows up followed by what looks like Assault Rifle rounds. The Covenant were busy fighting until you show up, and they immediately turn on you... What was this?

it was supposed to look like they were fighting some unknown enemy that you just can't quite see (the flood), but if you do a little creative glitching, you can see that actually no one is holding the assault rifles, they're just floating in mid air firing

Ya. I did the Pelican thing. And if u want to, you can go to the top of the structure. If you jump down, you can see the weapons floating there. And something wierd happened to me. It was on easy, i jumped down, landed in front of an AR, and i died. How lame is that?

you do get to see a flood before you enter the structure but its very distant.
when you get to the fallan tree and you look up and see the shade, if you keep looking you see a figure run by it and run towards the structure. that figure looks like a flood human, its not a marine because it leans while it runs.

That has got to be the oldest Halo glitch ever, the marine's name is Mendoza not Mendeaz or whatever you spelled and he is in that video you watch from Jenkins Helmet. (If you kill him it wont have any effect in the video.)
Also if you continue across the cliff in the opposite direction of Mendoza you will end up at that big building that has assault rifle rounds flying out of it. If you slide down the hill on to the building and then slowly back off you will see that there are no marines inside and it is just floating ARs.(They will hurt you if you stand directly in front of them.) That is probably supposed to be Keyes and his men.

Did you even listen, those are combat forms shooting out of the building.

I found this out after i threw a grenade on my brother after he got out. He blows up, i stay in, he falls and dies 3 times becasue of the height and speed.

theyre supposed to be, but if you go on top of the level and drop down on them, they're just floating assault rifles

Yeah, I did this a while ago. Yeah, I saw the floating Assault Rifle also, definitely there to make us think we are close, but if those were actual marines we definitely could have caught them and Bungie did not want that, so they just gave us the floating guns.
