Seriously Oak, Ive been doing this -blam!- for 16 years, gimmie my Friggen starter Pokemon and dont call me till im the champion! ¬_¬

Medecent Bias is quite an important character in the forerunner - flood war, and im positive at the end of halo 3 he has something to do with where the master chief ends up (Possibly charum hakktor)

I wouldnt be suprised if we see him reassembled later down the line, id put it on "Unintentionally"

I recommend reading cryptum, he's a major character at the end :P

By the power of truth, I, while living, have conquered the universe.

Mendicant Bias has been pivotal to a number of things, the fact he made the Philologist, the Minister of Fortitude and the Vice-Minister of Tranquility realise that humanity is what the Luminaries were depicting makes him one of the instigators of the Human-Covenant war.

Charum Hakkor was inside the Milky Way and was not a Forerunner planet.

So what about Offensive Bias? We all know Mendicant had gone metastable at the end of Halo 3. Maybe Offensive is still out there and has descended in to rampancy. And only what is left of Mendicant can stop Offensive.

Offensive Bias's fate is unknown post Forerunner-Flood war.

Signatures are for squares.

Unknown, but if I had to guess, I'd say the ark. Which means by the end of the series he probably isn't still around.

Do you know what kind of hat I'm wearing?

A party hat; you don't get one. An honor will this party be, a party in your honor, for your honor. Some of Tfear's personal guards are going to be there. You'll be introduced shortly.

Prepare to die.

At the end of Halo 2 the Gravemind says to Cortana 'Now I shall ask, and you shall answer.' The beggining 'Now I' points to that it is his turn to ask, as though questions have already been asked. But thus far Cortana has barely communicated with the Gravemind, so could the Flood leader be talking to his old ally, Mendicant.

That's a good theory, I've always wondered what that line meant.

Theres a thought, medecent was developed to examine the flood and analyise how they worked, so from that line, im guessing the gravemind didnt do anything to make medicent question his masters, simply... answered his questions

and that leads to his betrayal

My thoughts are the gravemind knew a little more than we thought...

Next Forerunner saga book plzkthx! c:

True

And mendicant was the one who asked questions to the gravemind during the war.

And if your theory is true ,then rolls are revised.Gravemind asks and Bias answers through Cortana.

Win pure win

In memory of those fallen in the defense of Earth and her colonies.

You know we probably wrote half the Halo canon for Bungie to begin with. I doubt that this intensely complex storyline was their thought to begin with. If it was, then there is a genius within Bungie. (Not an anymore, Reach failed HA). Anyway.... i doubt this is 'actually' the truth because their are a ton of theories out there. If say 343 needed ideas for Halo 4, where else to come but here? Maybe Bungie did the same with newer Halo titles, to weave in some backstory and just sit back and let us do the work for them? I dunno, is a possibility, like this theory.

Actually, the Halo plotline (all of it) is dictated by a damn near mythical Halo Story Bible. Its this Story Bible that makes me wonder just how the hell Halo: Reach happened.

Anyway, everything in the universe is explained there. Maybe not the finer details like how many ships and people were killed, but the story itself is there.

http://halo.wikia.com/wiki/Terminal

I think this link will be helpful for those who wants to read about the terminals in Halo 3. It contains every page of information + hidden messages from the terminals.

Your theory fits quite well, I salute you sir.
