Has anyone used software/hardware to record xbox system link packets for the purposes of cataloging statistical game data?  (i.e., player accuracy, hit points, etc)

That's a good question. I've seen some preliminary work done at http://caia.swin.edu.au/genius/020802A/ - it looks like packet traffic is at least predictable. Reading into them and extracting useful data is another story, however. It would be great to keep track of who plays, and exactly how we fare in combat.

While one player might get the most kills, how well did they play? Were they the most accurate? Were they powered up the whole time? Did I do the majority to over-all damage to other enemies?

Just think - this whole time I thought my nephew was better than me.. maybe he just plays 'smarter' than I do.
