Sincerely, the voice inside your head for whenever you read things.

For some reason, my lucid dreams have bad graphics, and normal dreams have normal graphics. That is how I tell the difference.

I saw this thread 3 days ago.

I got 3 dreams in 3 nights since then.

I remembered those dreams only after waking up and as you can see i did not manage to go into *lucid mode*. I always wake up during night at between 2:00 and 5:00 AM. The thing is, I never managed to get back into sleep after waking up. Actually, it feels like time goes very fast until 7:00 (I get out of bed at 7:00).

Is it normal i can't get back to sleep? I think time goes fast because I'm *half-sleeping*. But i really aren't sure. I need you guys's help on this one.

Try listening to binaural betas for a bit before going back to bed as they help the brain to relax and go to sleep, i gave a link of some free ones to download.

Question: When you are in a lucid dream, do you still have all your senses? Like, if you walked past a fresh batch of cookies in a dream, would you be able to smell them? Or if for some random reason, you wanted to slap yourself in a dream, would you feel it?

Very detailed.
I've often tried this, but my brain seems to wander off while I'm asleep and I lose focus.
Nice to see some true dedication towards such an experience, though.

My friend Jacob learned how to do this; Hilarious what he told me though - Apparently, at the end of each lucid dream (Right before he wakes up), things shift out of reality and weird things start to occur in the dream.

i think having a licud dream is really fun, i could do these things in real life using my imagination, but in licuds the laws of physics do what i want and if i do something there is no consequences

and it feels so real!!

Would you like the treatment?

As part of my cycle, Choline Bitartrate, will improve your dreaming. If you're looking into having some nice dream, I suggest taking a drug or two. I can definitely say, I remember my dreams every night because of my Choline and cycle.

I feel that's cheating. their are people who work hard for Lucid dreams. It also feels much more accomplishing when you do it...without drugs.

I've been getting better at lucid dreaming, and so far I can when I want to, but the control part is difficult. I can't seem to control things I'm looking at. How do I get better at controlling?

Fun fact about dreaming:
EVERY person you see within your dreams, you have seen in real life at some point whether you remember them or not. Yes, that random hobo in that subway in New York City is now part of your brain's vast database of faces to place on characters that are in your dreams.

Wow last night i saw this thread and thought that youwere just messing with people but for some reason as i was going to sleep i decided to tell myself that i was going to dream. I woke up at just past 6.25 and realised i had two dreams and went and record them. Now i believe because i usually get dreams like once a month or maybe a bit more. As i am on holidays now i have all the time in the world to learn to lucid dream. :D

Thanks for making the thread.

Yeah most people think i'm making it up at first then they are like WTF it worked. I recently found out the easiest way for me is to imagine a signpost saying "you are dreaming" so i see it somewhere in the dream and whabam, im flying or something.
It got weird last night as to fly i had to put or wings like what little kids wear.

That's not what she said.

Holy crap. I had one last night.

Very vivid as well, where godzilla attacked my hometown...
I thought it was real :S

I'm the Almighty Breadstick

The weird thing about me is that in my dreams I have minimal control. For example, if I see that i'm going to have a nightmare, and i'm aware that it's a nightmare, then I can wake myself up by shutting my "eyes" tight and then opening them. As soon as they're open i'm awake. Or sometimes I can control wht I say or do but I cant actually manipulate the dream itself

Huh. I never looked at this thread because I assumed it involved drugs. I will try this tonight.

Not sure if this can work for me. I am usually unable to make decisions in my dreams, like my ability to do so has been turned off and I am simply watching a scene from first person without the ability to control it. In my experience, when I start making decisions, the dream usually terminates.

Question: If I fold up a piece of paper and put it in my pocket and I write "dream test" on it and every hour I look at it and look away will that help me realize I'm dreaming within my dream?
