I've done this a couple times before while knowing nothing about the subject. Each time I naturally tried to have sex but I always waked up before the action. Weird ?

Can you practice things in your lucid dreams ? Like an instrument or a presentation for school ?

Lucid dreaming is an extremely strange thing. I have been able to do it since childhood and I have come across multiple types of lucid dreams.

In some you are in complete control, but you still don't realise you're dreaming. These are VERY rare, and when you wake up from one you don't know where you are (or anything like that), but a few seconds later you remember.

In others you realise you are dreaming very early, but have little control. You can try to edit the dream, but you will never succeed, and what the dream was originally like will always make it's way back into your head. These are normally built from events in your past week.

Finally, there are complete or incomplete memories, but you have much control over how they turn out. For instance, if you lost a family member, and you have nightmares, you might have a (lucid) nightmare in which you will save them from a car crash, or whatever fate they met.

Is Wake-Induced Lucid Dream (WILD) a good technique ?

  • 05.01.2011 11:18 AM PDT

these can happen without ecven knowing about it. I didn't even know the term for this, but I get them every once in a while. You just seem to randomly figure out that there is no way that it is happening and you discover you are in dream. I'm not going to try to do these on purpose. It makes it more fun if you realize you are doing it unintenionally. Hehe I remeber having sex while using a jetpack in hemmorage near the little gully between the cliffs.... I also remember beating the -blam!- out of a teacher with a garden gnome... you can become quite random and do whatever you like and the Best Part is there are no reprecussions for your actions!!! :)

I had my 2nd lucid dream last night. Its been a while since i actually tried to get one though.

I was outside some random house, just flying around with my 1337 air power, then I decided to go to some other house. There was 2 kids there and when they saw me they started throwing rocks at me. I just ran away and we eventually ended on a street. The kids looked at the ground and they saw glyphs on it. One of them said: Hey theres something weird about this place.

I looked at him and said: Theres something weird about this place?! we are in a lucid dream, idiot.
He looked at me, mouth wide open, and then I woke up.

Can we share our dreams with someone else? Or that was just part of my imagination?

In this case, it's likely just you. But there is people who report to have share a dream with someone they know.

Don't worry, you're still your mom's favorite Bnet member.

This sounds great, but I think we may need to go deeper.

Thank you Bungie,

See you starside.

Any ideas on actually getting dreams going? I get dreams very rarely and they're often quite short.

Thoughts?

Whoo.

I've had lucid dreams before, quite the interesting experience, I make it more frequent in the future but currently I have the fear of nightmares.

You see lucid dreaming is all awesome and whatnot but whenever you get a lucid nightmare it becomes so much more real than just a nightmare, to the point where you can wake up and still be seeing the dream.

And anyway it's interesting to try and phsyco-analyse your dreams to understand your about yourself, dreams are simply your subconcious going over your inner thoughts/feelings throughout your daily life but if you're lucid dreaming you can't experience dreams the same way.

There was also a point where I couldn't stop lucid dreaming and it felt like I hadn't slept at all, it wasn't that good a week.

TECHNIQUE-3 Binaural Beats FREE BEATS

Download these beats and listen to the theta frequency's whenever you are going to sleep, but make sure you use headphones as different frequencys go in different ears creating the new one. Listen to this when falling asleep and also make sure if you use wbtb (where you awake in the night and go back to sleep) listen to it when falling asleep as this will have major efect, it worked for me first time

These are full of crap. Idosers and these don't work at all, and they're proven NOT to work.

Some can come away from reading "War and Peace" thinking it a simple adventure story, while others can read the ingredients on a gum wrapper and unlock the secrets of the universe.

I vividly remember having my first lucid dream at the age of 5, and again when I was like 8 (16 now). In both cases I just freaked out and woke myself up by raming my head into the wall.

I'm going to try this though.

The Stig is dead to me
-Carrick

I remember my first Lucid dream and I didn't even mean to do it.

someone spilled red paint on my favourite hoody and the hoody started to disintegrate. I thought "wait a second...that wouldn't happen in the real world", walked up to a car, pointed my index finger at it and poked it. It slid down the street.

I thought this was epic and as I'd just seen Inception the first thing I did was fold the street over.

Twas epic

i have a few questions about lucid dreaming.. you say i can control E V E R Y T H I N G while dreaming... but can i control time? You only have about 4 hours of lucid dreaming but can you slow down the time in the dream compared to real life? say.. 1 second in real life could be 10 seconds in the dream? And another question, Say your in a lucid dream, and you know it but you can still feel pain in the dream... if this happens (happened to me before) do you know what causes this?

EDIT: And i actually once had a shared lucid dream with my brother i beleive (this was so long ago, when i was just 6 i beleive, before i knew about lucid dreams, and when i had no control of my dreams) where we were at our house and a space ship crashed into our front yard and we both ran out to see what was happening and we saw our grandma standing infront of it o.O, had the same dream on the same night from the same FPV sight from our sepret bodies, like it was real life. anyway, do you know anything about shared lucid dreaming?

Could you answer this for me twisteddippy if possiable?

"4. There is no harm from lucid dreams, but if you are having a stressed life you will have less lucid dreams."

"but if you are having a stressed life you will have less lucid dreams."

So, with that statement, my hopes of revisiting a lucid dream I had a while back(like past 6 months or so) are dashed. It was a lucid dream, but I didn't know I was dreaming, and I was not in control. Plus, there were lots of random things in it that just didn't make sense. But from this dream, I got inspired, and I'm going to start writing a book, based on this dream I had...maybe sometime next week. I still remember the dream to this day. But just with that one statement above, my hopes of revisiting this dream are gone.
