The concept is all that really matters.

First (and only) lucid dream I had was when I was little. I had a dream that I was in a boarding school from England with uniforms. Somehow, I remembered that I'm not from England, but from Texas. I then realize that this is a dream, so what was the first thing I did? The correct answer: fly. C'mon, you know you want to. ;)

I tend to remember dreams vividly, especially dreams from years and years ago. Like when I was about 2 or 3 I dreamt that I was flying with Peter Pan and the gang around Big Ben.

I may just be rambling on, but you know what: a thread like this isn't common, so I wanna make the most of it. I could go on with another extremely vivid dream that I wrote a page and a half of....

feel free to post any dream or anything you have even if it takes up 1 1/2 pages, its still interesting and can potentially cause others to have similar tonight.

Okay, then; here comes the wall...

First of all, I live in Corpus Christi, Texas. In my dream I want to go to Kingsville for some strange reason, but my parents won't drive me there. So I run away with a skateboard (I don't skate irl) and walk for two hours to Kingsville (not even thinking to ride).

I follow a road that winds up becoming a dirt trail and eventually becomes a railroad. After a while of walking down the tracks, A thicket starts to form and envelope the surrounding space. The thicket becomes a tunnel, and I go in.

There is no light inside the tunnel, so I have to grope my way through. This wouldn't be too much of a problem, but it's really -blam-in' scary 'cause I start to hear the creepiest things in the pitch darkness. I start running, still groping for the walls and the turns. I start to feel things grabbing at me; hands, vines, cacti (wut?).

I finally find my way out, and there's Kingsville... but it's deserted. I then black out, and wake up in the middle of a few stopped trains unloading books. They're also deserted. I start checking to see where the trains are from so that I may inference the direction Corpus is. A train with no driver or passengers passes by. And out of nowhere my friends from Spanish class, Roland and Regan, come from the direction Kingsville was supposed to be.

Night falls rather quickly (in about half a minute), and I tell them that we have to get back to Corpus before my parents find out I'm gone (as if they hadn't noticed when I left). Once we get to the thicket again, it's completely dark again and there's a thick fog. A few trains come and go, nearly running us over, and I seem to be the slowest of us three. So we lock arms and sprint to the tunnel. This time there is light inside, and we see cacti, vines, Jack-o-lanterns, and mummified witches. All of the mentioned have bloodstones embedded somewhere on them.

This is where my dream and my wall ends. So waddya think?

I wanna go to sleep and try this but the combination of fear over scary stuff lke sleep paralysis and excitement over cool stuff like controlling everything. I've had one or two lucid dreams. In one I was in a house surrounded by velociraptors when I figured it out. I made the velociraptors dissapear, but when I made it rain candy, but when it started raining, it would stop just short of me catching it.

Per Audacia Ad Astra

If I didn't have school, I'd set my alarm for stupid o'clock in the morning and go back to bed to induce REM sleep.

Pinching does not work.

In a dream, you are susceptible to pain.

A dream is meant to fool you that you are in reality (when you are asleep) so hittingépinching yourself will cause you to feel pain you dream.

I don't get the attraction to lucid dreaming. Sure the Ocasional lucid dream is fun but I enjoy the random ass trips my mind takes me much more than anything I can think up with a clear head. (Seriously my subconsious is -blam!- up.)

To sum up: I don't always enjoy the places my mind takes me, but I always enjoy retelling or using those parts later to enhance my stories.

Words of wisdom all around, but no one ever seems to listen. The words are all around but the words are only sound. But nobody seems to listen. Instead they'll say, "Well how could we of known?" I'll tell em, "It's really not so hard to tell. keep adding stones, and the water gets lost in the well."

I have a request for you Lucids out there.
Can you attempt to teleport next time you dream?
I tend to find it difficult if i'm not already looking at the destination I'm planning to go to.
For instance teleporting away from a threat is hard for me.

Soon to be breaking news:

US Coast Guard prepares for massive rescue mission after Iranian fleet sinks off shore. Reports say a small thunderstorm caused most of the ships to simply...fall apart.

Everytime I realize I'm dreaming, I wake up.

Then again, I've only been trying for a few days now.

'Κύριε Ἰησοῦ Χριστέ, Υἱὲ τοῦ Θεοῦ, ἐλέησόν με τὸν ἁμαρτωλόν.'

I've just started lucid dreaming and I have no trouble inducing a lucid dream, you know, having that sense of awareness that I am dreaming. However, I have an extremely hard time at trying to alter the world around me in the dream. I tried to imagine myself flying, but instead of actually flying, I just got this really chilling, icy sensation, and the world around me turned black, and I felt like I was free-falling, but then I just woke up. What went wrong? Also, once while lucid dreaming I was alone inside of my room, and I tried to bring one of my friends into the dream, so I kept thinking of her and trying to order my mind to make her appear, but she did not and nothing happened. How do I alter my dream? How do I bring something into the dream?

I controlled my dream in a way last night. I kept waking up for like 10 minutes, and then going back to sleep and continuing the same dream.

It was pretty awesome.

But then I woke up and it wasn't real and I was disappointed.

Hate that. You can just feel yourself waking up and you're like, "Please God, NO! Just let me stay in this dream forever! It's 100x better than life!"

So I can post any dream I want? Ok! This one is fun (and it REALLY did happen): So I was actually INSIDE of CoD Black Ops and then I climbed over this wall and I was in this forest with a bunch of other people. And all the trees had blood smeared all over them. Then they came to life and tried to turn us into zombies. Then they sent millions of these little tree-monkey things at us so we ran into a natural tunnel. When we came out the other end, we were in a GIANT Wal-Mart and the tree monkey things were still chasing us. Then I looked around and found out we had ALL turned into the Minions from 'Dispicable Me'. Anyways, me and my friend Spencer jumped into this hole. Then we hatched a plan to destroy the Master Tree. So he stepped into the light of the hole and then a giant knife came down and stabbed him. It just kept stabbing him for a whole 30 seconds and blood was going everywhere. Then he said "Looks like you're going to have to fend for yourself for a while" and a tree-monkey grabbed his body and pulled him up. The whole time I was huddled in a corner of the hole and probably crapping my pants.
So, naturally, I told everyone at school about this. I didn't regret it either. Also, I left out some other parts, like a giant version of my friend Austin pretending to be a baby so the things wouldn't kill him, for your sake.
