I know a trick, if you leave a scary movie on and fall asleep to it, youll have a nightmare

Surprisingly, they found that people who often play shooters rarely have nightmares. This is because they are so used to tracking down and killing "monsters" that subconsciously, they relate this to as being fun. So when they dream, if they are being chased by some scary ass monster, they'll associate it to a video game and instead of running away, would probably try to kick some "monster" butt and having fun.

i.e play a huge -blam!-load of FEAR and you'll be safe from nightmares

Thats probably true in all my lucid dreams or even if i am not lucid on the rare occasion, no matter what monster runs at me i always massacre and murder it.

Det vore klokt att tro att det inte finns några undantag.

I had a lucid dream about a week ago.

I was dreaming I was counting the fingers on my hand, counted six. Realised I was dreaming, and woke up out of excitement.

Pwned

I tend to forget my dreams so its really hard to keep a dream log for me. And when I do remember my dreams they are very random and have little consistency. Is it possible to lucid dream without a dream log?

Yes on the rare occasion, but it is very important to make sure you get your dream recall up. Just try what i said about waking up 4 1/2 hours after waking for a while and trust me u will get more dreams.

it was dope.

Roses are red
Violets are blue
I love Yvonne
And so should you

I'd love to have a lucid dream but I'm too lazy. I'd probably procrastinate in the dream and waste making it uber cool anyway

Hanger one I just shredded with the SMGs until ammo was out and I just threw 'nades like a boss while BRing.

My experience playing Cairo Station on Legendary

I can gladly say that I have done this numerous times. Although once you realize it's dream, act quickly because you're bound to wake up soon. Also, if you shut your eyes in a dream, let them open naturally or you'll wake up. I did that one a few times too.

Friends before pixels.

You should create a similar thread to help trump nightmares.

That would help me a lot.....

You're like a slinky. Good for nothing, but you bring a smile to my face when I push you down the stairs.

I know that I'm dreaming almost everytime. It's easy to find out. One time, I was shooting explosive blue energy out of my hands. It -blam!- ruled.

I don't dream, I only have nightmares.

Repeated nightmares of me watching my best friend get blown up by a grenade.

Repeated nightmares of me burning in the inferno for all of eternity.

Pushing your fingers through your hand doesn't work in a dream. It acts as it would IRL.
hmm, i need a new reality check then.

There's a similar one that works well for me. Just convince yourself you have something written on your hand before sleeping. Even if you don't see anything written on it it should work.

I've been a Wolfbane a couple of times (basically the same as a Werewolf), running on all fours extremely fast is very entertaining, I must say.

As for '2'; most people wake up if they die in a dream (especially if they believe it's real).
I've died a couple of times, its pretty interesting if you're still functioning afterwards.
