WBTB always helps me to remember my dreams when I wake up, but I still haven't been able to go lucid. It torture, waking up and remembering everything that should have tipped me off, but didn't.

A few nights ago I clearly recalled 4 long dreams only waking up once. I was amazed by this, because I usually only remember a dream if I wake up in the middle of it. In this case I remembered 4 seperate dreams in one night. I haven't succesfully recalled a dream since...

At least you know you can remember loads at once.

I guess it's good to know I can, I just need to figure out how. Do you have any explanation for hearing my own voice question how I don't know I'm dreaming within a dream? (Read my past posts)

Hi im twisteds mate from school, he'd probably say something like dreaming in a dream can be found out the same way as normal dreams, but often when you realise upon waking from a dream in a dream, you become lucid becuase you realise you are in a dream.

The concept is all that really matters.

I uh... had a dream last night that I was the son of Tarzan and Jane. They still lived in the jungle, whereas I lived elsewhere, oblivious to their whereabouts until sailing there. They completely avoided me once I arrived, though I caught glimpses of them from time to time, an expression of contentment on their faces. I had a feeling that they were proud of me, but didn't want to intrude in my life.

Then it switched to me being in an apartment with her and a few friends.

whenever I'm dreaming i can wake myself to sleep paralysis but can still hear my dreams. is this normal? also. i have found that you can make tiny movements with your body while in sleep paralysis and can wake up if a part o my body, say, suddenly falls over my bed a bit. But i usually just exhale sharply to wake myself up.

Dont be worried about it at all. Literally it just you knowing your awake and having normal thought processes but not being able to move. You can swallow to stop it or fall back to sleep, or wait and you might get an out of body experience.
Lie on your bed and close your eyes without moving and thats basically sleep paralysis.

Quite the opposite, by doing even 1 of these techniques you will start to have dreams almost immediately. You just need to triggere your subconsscious into remembering them.

Keep your alarm in a location really close to you so that you can turn it off with little effort. But before doing that at least get the basics of what you dreamed in your mind so the details can be focused on.
I always use my watch alarm as its slightly softer and quiter and when it goes off i just slightly press it into my mattress to turn it off.
This allows me to have an easier time remembering.
Also if the alarm is loud then you will get distracted by it, try going for a soft, unobtrusive alarm.

It means you have good dream recall and often you only have 4 or 5 dreams a night. It should be easy for you to start lucid dreaming as you've got the hard part (remembering) already done.

Generalizations.
Helping idiots hate other idiots since people have existed.

Odd.

I can recall a few dreams where I realized I was dreaming.
I feel like I consciously realized this, but then I woke up a few seconds later.
I didn't even get excited or anything. I just stood there and though, "Huh. I'm dreaming. Sweet." because I noticed something impossible happened.

However illogical all this sounds, Lucid Dreaming has been proven by study.
Perhaps I should try this, however foolish I feel while doing it.

Yes it has been proven by study. It's also believed albert einstein was a lucid dreamer.

Had a semi-lucid dream last night. I've been having dreams where I knew that I was dreaming, but didn't really have any control over what I was dreaming about.

Maybe I should finally take this step by step.
