"So- So this means Im just going to be miserable for the rest of time?!"

"No. This means that you have to live life to the fullest. You have one life, live it well. Make sure you die without regrets. Get a new life, new mate, new family. You, out of all people, don't deserve a terrible fate of misery like that. Having nothing to look forward to is good. It makes sure you want to keep on going. Living is a right, not a privilege."

So I've been having the oddest dreams. In my dreams I believe I'm lucid dreaming, when I'm really not. I'm not fully aware of the dream, yet I think I'm lucid dreaming, and so I can't control anything. It's hard to explain, and to be honest it confused me why I wasn't able to do whatever I want until I woke up.

That's a good sign, often before you can control the dreams, and act as "you" in them, you start having dreams where you are just identifying you are dreaming which is the difficult part done. Just keep working on it and slowly you will find more control and being able to do what you want will come with practice.

Thanks for the advice. Yeah I've had one lucid dream before, but it ended because I couldn't control my excitement. I've learned if I spin around in a 360, I can keep myself sleeping.

Just be careful when spinning around, if you fall over you might wake up.

I had a dream a couple days ago and it was a little weird. It was ike I was in a video game. First I am told about a zombie appocalypse that is coming, then I magicaly appear on top of a tower that was made out of blocks from minecraft. When I was on top of this tower I saw a zombie and my veiw zoomed in on it like some sort of cut scene from a video game. (Note the zombie did not look like a minecraft zombie) then I woke up.

When I broke my ankle, I needed crutches to walk. I called them "Armor" and "Lock"

Can ADD (inattentive type) affect your ability to lucid dream? I'm wondering if that may have something to do with my problems with lucid dreaming

  • 12.15.2011 6:52 PM PDT

Every time I do it I go into third person view then wake up, it only lasts about five seconds.

LOL I just had a dream where one of my chick class mates stripped her clothes and started to dance in circles. Then I remembered about Myaccess revision and forced myself awake.

I am getting really annoyed about people making fun of my name. It has a sentimental value. It was the name of my first character in a game were violence is the forte. I was 7 and the game was Daiblo.

I have had lucid dreams and they were a lot of fun, but my most favorite dream was a completely random one from when I was 7.

In every nightmare I've ever had, right before I died, I thought to myself "I'm dreaming! wake up!" and close my eyes, opening them in the real world. Does this count as lucid dreaming?

+1 for you good sir.

I have very vague lucid dreams, its always this epic scene or a scene with some importance playing, but then it skips the parts with no importance and takes me straight into what happens next.

Like this: I was looking through the eyes of a woman, she was running through a dark city, the people were ebony slaughtered by dark creatures that moved like shadows.

Whatever happened next was skipped.

The next scene was the same woman. She was on the ground, on her back. A vehicle was overturned on the road and a man was unconscious a few feet away from her.

It was obvious that the two were in an accident of some sort.

She kept slipping in and out of consciousness and everytime she woke, a man seemed to be walkIng towards the wreck. He came closer and closer. The next time she woke, he was seen shooting the man on the floor in the head. He walks towards her.

Now I'm viewing it from his eyes.

He grabs her arm as she tries to fight him, he stomps on her face a couple times to knock her out.

Next scene.

He is now in a cave, the only opening is above them, the woman is next to him.

Next scene.

It seems as if the Man joined his body with hers to make some sort of dark being. Whatever it is though, its pitch black, like a black hole, the only thIng pointing it out is the dark purple outline of the figure. It's huge and doesn't have a definite form, it's a massive blob attempting to form itself into something.

Next scene.

There is day light. There is a crowd of people around a hole in the ground. I'm assuming it's the same hole from the previous scene. I'm in control of this body now. I watch as the group leader points down the hole to a giant tree within the cave. It's not an ordinary tree though, it seems to be a mix between metallic link fences and windows that surround the tree, there are heavy chains angling up from the fences to the branches high above. There is a giant clock in the center of the tree.

The tree has three platforms, of levels, the bottom and center have rooms. The top is a platform with a table, I think its something, in the middle with 9 rods sticking out of them. The rest of the last platform has antique furniture placed on it.

It reminds me of a realm made by a mad man.

The leader tells us we must go down there, I forgot the reason but it has something to do with the woman from the previous scene. I think we have to free her. She tells us the tree can act on it's own and will protect the object in the last platform.

One of the boys in the group ignores her warning and says this should be simple, he is full of himself. He jumps down the hole and the tree acts out. A branch is swung at him and his body is utterly destroyed, pieces of him fly across the cave.

Everyone becomes nervous. The woman reassures us and tells us we can do this. She pulls out a bottle and tells us it is liquid copper. She tells us this will give us great speed to be able to dodge the trees attacks. She drinks some and jumps in, we were told there was a bottle in each of our bags. We grab ours, drink it and jump down with her.

Immediately, the tree is attacking the first people to jump down, it's quick, but the liquid copper makes us quicker. We avoid the branches and with the luquid copper, we are able to jump twice as high.

We jump past te fences and grab one of the chains attached, we each cut our own and are lifted up to the second platform.

We are now running in and out of rooms and jumping out of windows, apparently we still have the chains with us to be able to hang on to. We scale the second platform avoiding the branches as we go.

Next scene.

We made it to the final platform. Some of the boys are already attempting to open the table of whatever in the center while others keep a more deadlier attacker occupied. The boys wrap the chain they have to a rod that is closer to them. They then jerk the chain up and open the rod, they need a key to unlock each of the 9.

Next scene.

We found our keys, now we begin to unlock the rods. The "table" begins to open...

I wake up.

If you came to the realization that you were dreaming you could have manipulated the dream in any way you saw fit. For example, you could have prevented yourself from dying.

I've never had a lucid dream myself... last time I got serious about trying to lucid dream I woke up with sleep paralysis. Wasn't nice...

Sorry to hear you got paralysis, it can be a pain at times. Anyway why don't you try again.
Also it's a lucid dream when you realise your dreaming, but if you can control the dream itself its better.

I remember having this REALLY amazing dream, where all my hopes and (dreams?) came true. Then after a while, I realized I was dreaming, and I started dropping f-bombs in my dream. Then I woke up.
