I've tried this repeatedly but no matter what I do I have the same dream, every night for the past four years. I don't have a physical body in the dream, its just an infinite world filled with this weird black smoke and grey ambience. No ground nothing but the smoke and the grey background. I can move, but its just I exist there, I don't really have a body of any sort.

if you are able to become conscious then you could create the world who you see fit, forge worlds from your mist.

Check out The Game Lounge

Totally going to try this. I've had 1 dream where I knew it was a dream, but totally forgot everything after it.

I want to have a lucid dream, but I don't want to read ten walls of text.

Dilemma.

I want to have a lucid dream, but I don't want to read ten walls of text.

Dilemma.

Here is the short version.
1. Check hourly whether this is reality, try pushing your hand through your other hand or checking the time twice to see a change. If it does something extra-ordinary its a dream. ( Think is this a dream when doing it)

2. When dozing off picture what you want to dream and think, "i will remember my dreams"

3a. Wake up 4, 1/2 hours after sleep and dont move, just try as hard as possible to remember what you dreamt...record this afterwards.

3b.When falling back asleep Focus your mind on a location and don't move a muscle, you may go straight to a dream.

4. When you have done checks so often its habit you will repeat them in your dreams- therefore brining awareness.

5. When dreaming and being aware try doing what you want, but dont get too excited (practice is required for full control).

5b. If you feel you are waking up then stick your arms out, spin on the spost and shout loudly.

6. If you happen to awake and have sleep paralysis then simply swallow to bring muscles "back online", or slowly move your fingers and then more of your body.

Do you know of any reason why you may not be able to do it anymore.

Some people wear Master Chief pajamas but Master Chief wears Desmeress pajamas.

Very rarely do I ever dream. Though, I would like to dream more often.

Still trying to do this

A lot of the time I don't seem to be dreaming at all

Also, with the Binaural beats do I want low high, mid or low
theta?

Doesn't really matter, i prefer low theta because it has a smoother sound...easier to sleep to.

I'd say keep practicing and start telling yourself that you will control your dreams when falling asleep, should help you to remember you can.

Just try the dream recall section i outlined, that should help you to remember your dreams.

They've helped me a fair bit if i'm only having a quick nap during the day as it gets me into the correct state of mind. IM uncertain how they affect my full length dreams in my sleep cycle as i naturally lucid dream. But i do notice if i dont listen to it i have slightly less clarity when dreaming.

Almost every dream I've had since reading this thread are lucid. I can control them, no problem.

But I rarely actually remember the dreams. I can't be getting up after 4 1/2 hrs, and I don't want to right it down :P. Ah well.

just do the writing them down, that way just trying to remember them will increase your ability to remember them. It's a good idea.

Might not have been a fit, could be as simple as a dream where your muscles unlocked and you were moving, once i punched the wall shouting "-blam!- you" when asleep- i then had to get some bandages as i scraped my knuckles.

  • 01.15.2012 10:04 AM PDT

yep, and how you explain i felt dizzy after waking up and how u explain i was shocking during my black out?

because i had a black out..., it was not a dream, it was a black out where i was shocking in real life

Well, im only speculating here, but you may of been dreaming and not of remembered it, also i occasionally wake up dizzy, its linked to dehydration as you havent drunk in over 7 hours so your water to salt ratio is low. Also where you conscious during it because if nots its most likely muscles spasms during a dream you cannot remember. I know someone with epilepsy and he knows he is having a fit when it is happening, if its a black out its most likely sleep or a gap in memory.

all men are equal, except i am more equal than you because i am alive and you are dead

according to one of my friend i lucid dream all the time

you see i have been daydreaming so much that to me there is no difference anymore between a dream and a day dream so i always had control over what ever goes through my head when ever i close mt eyes...
