The funny thing is that I actually had one last night, before discovering this thread right now. Hoping for a second one tonight, the first one was awesome!

This is annoying, my dreams are getting more and more surreal yet I still go along with them in my head not thinking that they're dreams.

A couple months back I was like you, having lucid dreams all the time. But now, I can't for some reason.

I catch myself in a dream and I try and take control but the dream just keeps rolling on and on and I can't do anything, even if I know I'm dreaming. It's happening every night. Can you help?

Could be stress related or you may not be becoming lucid. Sounds as if your dreaming about realising its a dream which drives me insane as well. I'd suggest before sleeping constantly reminding yourself that if you realise its a dream then it is, sounds as if your dreaming about lucid dreams.

i would not toy with lucid dreaming you could -blam!- as many models as you want but you could also have the worst nightmare of your life. i know by experience that's why i never want to lucid dream again.

How are you having Lucid nightmares, in a lucid dream you can do whatever you want therefore you can't have nightmares. For instance i could be attacked by godzilla, but i'd simply think up a BFG9000 and it wouldn't be a nightmare anymore. Sounds like you think your lucid dreaming when you aren't. Besides surely the benefits outweigh the risks.
Also just want to point out that models are totally overrated, so much better if its Krystal or someone like that.

I think I just experienced inception by waking from a dream only to end up in another. I had taken note of the architecture of a building. You know those modern buildings with silver tiling? Let's use this as an example. Well the building's tiling was black as the night which gave it a pretty impressive look and towered up from the ground where the was a larger base of columns supporting a ceiling. Around the building we trees spiraling up the course of the tower with foliage at the halfway point. It was quite a sight.

So I kept that in mind when I just happened to travel away from the towering building and into a neighboring alleyway. When I looked back the building was square. Now I'd just taken into memory what this building looks like and you're telling me "no -blam!- you it's square". This was the point where I realized that I was dreaming and about five seconds later after continuing down the alleyway I was ejected from the dream where I proptly let out a FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU. Only thing is when I woke into reality seemingly thirty seconds later I realized that I had said that in a dream outside of another dream.

So there you have it.

Thats pretty cool that you noticed the building change also shows your skilled.
Also inception is fun when it happens.

Been trying this for the past few weeks - A few days ago, I finally gained consciousness within my dream by performing a reality check. I woke up a few seconds later with ringing in my ears. Any tips on how to gain full control?

For example i'm playing football in my dream and i just wake up. And i didn't realize it was a dream. Or when i wake up i just asked what did i dream? then i got the answer but it was too late?

My lucid dreams always turn out to be wet ones.

This will sound lame but I had an awesome lucid dream of Mass Effect. I was Shepard on earth fighting the reapers with Tali and Javik. It was absolutely amazing.

I tried lucid dreaming a day or two ago. It didn't work as I'd hoped, but it was realistic as hell. I'll just post a short summary of the events.

A small team of four including myself raided a bus full of soldiers (no affiliation) because they had a hostage on board (a hot blonde, not surprised). We killed them all, drove the bus to a bridge, which exploded at the far end. This made the bus go down hill into the river. I actually felt like I was in on a roller coaster when the bus went downhill. When I got in the water I actually felt like I was struggling for my life, and I could feel the water. Etc. Etc. I ended up drowning.

I'm gonna try again and see what happens. Maybe this happened because I didn't try to dream of anything specific.

One does not choose a destiny, his destiny is bestowed, shaped and formed, from the soul.

Well, I died but kinda went around the "dreamscape" watching my dream progress without me being in it. Kinda like watching you subconscious play with itself. It was pretty awesome

DREAM-CEPTION!
ANyway, ive been following most of these steps for almost a month
and im disappointed. Nothing. It sounds awesome, but hopefully it'll happen someday.
but to you people like me, look up remee lucid dreaming mask. It looks like one of those sleep masks, though at times of REM, it flashes a dim red light which you can see in your dream, so you remember in your dream about remee, and realize that your dreaming, so you become lucid. It has potential (even though its 100 bucks) Think of it as virtual reality once a day.

I have lucid dreams pretty much since I remember. But the most remembered ones either had to do with horror, like a zombie apocalypse or a werewolf holding my family hostage (both took place in my city about a couple miles away from my house or inside of it) or wet ones that have a surreal location like 10 cruise ships in the of the Caribbeanhaving a giant party o.0 ....

Whilst those do work they can be expensive. Just keep on trying and you'll get it eventually- it vaires with each person.

Don't punch a British kid, the queen'll come after you.

I'm beginning to condition myself to doing a reality check whenever I look at the time, which is a fair bit.

Starting my dream diary again tomorrow.

I'm going to experience one of these eventually dammit.

When I broke my ankle, I needed crutches to walk. I called them "Armor" and "Lock"

I became lucid for the first time in months last night. The dream contained bears fighting giant alligators, people growing claws, and a polar bear corpse in New York City. And I was the main character from 24 for some reason.
And what did I see to make me realize I was dreaming?

A footstool. I was in my bathroom and I saw a footstool and was like "Hey, we don't have a stool like that! I must be in a dream!"

I r guy who gun to teach u lesson

Never had a lucid dream, and my dreams do not feel like real life at all (if I remember them). I should probably work on remembering my dreams first.

Forgot to post this a while ago, but I finally had a true lucid dream a few weeks ago, except, I had three in a row.

The first one was me just sitting in my old school's classroom learning French. Funny, because we only learned Spanish. Once I realized this, I transformed the dream into a nice sunny day where everyone from my old school were just outside having fun.

I forgot the second dream, but the third dream was just me and this cute girl sitting in my room playing video games. I was playing Fallout, she was playing Pokemon.

Then I woke up because I got too excited.
