This past week, I was able to have a lucid dream twice.

The first dream is perhaps now one of my most favorite dreams of all time. It was epic beyond belief. Anyway, here it goes. The US had been turned into some kind of fascist state, and my friends and I were jailed for reasons unbeknownst to us. We were sent to this prison where we had to fight each other to survive. I mean like, arena battle type stuff.

We fought each other for quite a while. The prison itself didn't feel like a prison, however. It largely consisted of a central mess hall, which had a dark grey, cemented floors and white walls. The tables were the folding kinds with white tops. There were many other rooms that also took on this scheme, but with different things inside. The exercise room had weight lifting equipment, the kitchen had kitchen ware, etc.

I was aware that this was a dream the whole time. I hardly ever control the dreams itself, but my actions instead. So I was basically interacting with all these prisoners and my friends while going about my day. In my dream, I fought, I ate, and I worked out. I even remember having myself do push-ups within the dream. However, it all changed.

I was approached by my friend, Thomas, who quickly noted me to meet my friends at the mess hall after midnight (the prison was very odd. All the inmates had free reign, but we still had to fight each other for their amusement). I did so. Many of my actual friends from real life were there. They told me they had a plan to escape the prison. This is where the badassery kicks in.

This part, I forget. I was conscious for this part, but I definitely was for the next. The next time I regain control of my actions, I find myself standing outside of the prison, with my original friends. This is where it looks awesome. The streets are desolate. We're in a city, and there are cars everywhere. Literally covering the street. The building were tall and dark. They had a World War II era feel to them. They gradually tinted to an orange color the closer to the ground they came. All the street took on this orange tint. Our plan was to each jack a car of some kind, go our separate ways, then converge on a single rendezvous location.

Thomas and I choose a speed bike, because we figure it'd take less time to hot wire. We quickly did it, and we were on our way. We heard multiple army-like things, such as soldiers yelling, helicopter rotors, etc. We were almost out of the city, when we saw a road block. The soldiers saw us, then quickly hoped over their jersey barriers to converge on us. We slammed on the gas and tried to ramp the barricade. We failed, and crashed.

The next time I regain consciousness, I'm staring at the moon and a brightly lit night sky. At first, I'm dumbfounded as to why this is. I then look down, and see cement blocks tied to my legs. I'm standing on what appears to be a metal bridge, but the bottom opaque due to the crisscross design we see a lot. I look up again, and see the warden of the prison. It was a beautiful woman, brown uniform, dark hair, with a slightly stressed facial structure. She nodded. I looked to my left, only to discover our escape plan had failed. My friends and I were all going to be executed. The next thing I know, I'm falling. I sink into the ocean with barely a flash. I see the brightly lit moon above me start to dim, dim, dim, until there was nothing.

My second dream wasn't really a lucid dream. In one of my earlier dreams, I had been given a new iPod. I was excited, because I've had my good ol' flip phone for over five years. This quickly faded from my mind. This morning, I had a dream where I was watching these folks play basketball. I don't know why, but I was charging my phone on a wall socket in this gym. I quickly realized, "Hey, where's my iPod? Oh, that's right, I'm dreaming,". My body recognized this, and tried to wake me up. I fought it immensely. I struggled to retain this dream. I told myself in rapid succession, "This is a dream, this is a dream,". The picture tore away like a paper above a flame. I was eventually brought back to reality, right after my sleep paralysis ended.

That's pretty much it.

If you assign every letter of the alphabet a number, a is 1, b is 2, etc., and you take all of the values of the word "MATH", and add them, you get 42. So math is the meaning of life, the universe, and everything.

It is foolish and wrong to mourn the men who died. Rather we should thank god that such men lived. ----------- No Bastard ever won a war by dying for his country. He won it by making the other poor dumb bastard die for his country. (both by George S. Patton jr.)

I actually tried some of these steps to Lucid Dream and lately I have been having the most wild vivid dreams! However I don't have the whole controlling thing down or really realizing I'm dreaming and having that wake me up. But it's so cool, video games are just downright barbaric compared to some of the cool things I thought myself through!

I tried lucid dreaming last night through the "don't move" option, and it was HORRIBLE. My teeth started hurting loads for some reason, as if someone was ripping them all out :/

Not quite sure why that happened because there was nothing wrong with them.

This thread would have appealed to me more if it was written with crayons.

I broke one of the cords for my X11s because I couldn't get past the final American course in Doritos Crash Course.

Interestingly enough, video games enhance your ability to lucid dream.
