Subject: Do you think Rtas 'Vadum killed Noble 6?

Could it be Jun who stole an energy sword? hehe that would be cool. Then he could've saved Six without a helmet

Well, yes. I have seen that mentioned many times. Still, I'd really like to know what the point of that little scene was.

There is no point. The were just Elites, not specific characters. I think you are reading into the left-handed thing too much.

Sangheili Major: "Brute ships. Staggered line! Shipmaster, they outnumber us, three-to-one!"

Rtas 'Vadum: "Then it is an even fight. All Cruisers, fire at will! Burn their mongrel hides!"

Actually, no. I believe there must be many more Sangheili who are left handed.
It just related to a hell ton of cliffhangers I've seen. (Not necessarily in the Halo series, in other things as well.)

"Find where the liar hides, so that I may place my boot between his gums!" - Rtas 'Vadum

12 people should have their mongrel hides burned...

  • 03.09.2011 10:31 AM PDT

I highly doubt it was Rtas, as he was alongside Thel...

Another fact is that group seemed to not be a squad. I mean, what was it 2-3 ultras, a zealot, a general, and 2 majors? (Might have numbers wrong for the ultras and majors.) That doesn't seem like a typical squad...

By the power of truth, I, while living, have conquered the universe.

The hell, why is this thread revived? We've already established that it can't have been Rtas, he was aboard the Seeker of Truth with Thel and followed the Autumn to Halo.

LONE WOLF TAKES PLACE HOURS AFTER THIS HAPPENS. The basis of this entire theory is that a single Sangheili here uses his left hand, Sangheili number in the billions, you cannot honestly expect there to be one bloody left-handed Sangheili.

I think we just need to accept at this point that there will always be people that will think one of or even all of the things listed:

-Thel or Rtas was present when Six died

-An Arbiter killed Six

-Jun was Halsey's body guard and the Arbiter killed him because "The Fall of Reach" says so

-Cortana is a Forerunner construct

-It's on Halopedia/an/wiki/whatever so it must be true!

Man is born free but everywhere he is in chains.

The Elite was probably left handed for camera-angle convenience.

Indeed. But it's the kind of bollocks I expect to see in the Reach forum, not the Universe.

I think the integrity of this forum is slowing being watered down. The most knowledgeable members are not frequenting the forum as often and the number of uninformed members is increasing. The Universe will soon be to canon what the Reach forum is to gameplay. Shame.

Times have changed unfortunately...Ever since Reach came out several people started popping up in the Universe forum trying to pose arguments or participate in a discussion with completely irrelevant pieces of evidence or outright false information. Bit of a shame, but oh well....We all got to just deal with it...

It's unfortunate, but that's the way it is.
I don't trust Halopedia, I use it to gain information but don't fully believe it unless there is a proper source for the information.

Left-handedness doesn't really hint at much, and thinking about it now it could have been decided that that particular Sangheili was left handed just because he was placed on the right side of the picture. I've done this, I have a left handed character and that was an accident, just because of placement on a picture.
However, I still think there was something...-lost my wording, but I think some would understand what I mean- that, or perhaps they just wanted a certain "epic" feeling to that scene.

Wow. I don't think this post is going to come across as I hoped when it is read. -facedesk and/shot for badly written post-

Rtas was with Thel when he followed the Autumn, he cannot be in two places at once. -_-

The death of Noble 6 were just a coupple of minutes after the Autumn left.
Rtas could have killed him and maybe some of the other random Spartans sleeping around there, to then catch up to Thel.

No, Lone Wolf takes place hours after Six gives Keyes the package.

- Pillar of Autumn leaves for Halo: August 30th, 2552 1652 hours
- Six dies: August 30th, 2552 20:00 hours

The basis of this whole "theory" is one of the weakest I've seen. So because the Sangheili's foot is silver and is carrying an Energy Sword, it must be Rtas?

Upon rewatching the video, the silver Elite hasn't even got an Energy Sword, it's plasma wrist-blade is active on its right hand and it holds down Six. The Elite whose foot is in the way of the camera has purple armour.

When i said ''left'' i meant the slipspace-rupture which were only minutes after the death of 6, as i said.
And i think we don't think of the same Sanghieli.
He's armour is for sure silver if you turn up contrast and coulors on your pc/tv.
It's clearly an Energysword he's holding too because it's 2-bladed.

I saw a double-bladed wrist blade, not an energy sword on the wrist of the Elite that killed six. Besides the blades were too small to be an energy sword.

Oh yeah, since somebody does not believe what YOU believe; that makes us vapid...
I cannot grasp that what you call "Something happened to nothing, and that nothing became something, and it was smaller than than a period."

It looks to me like there was a silver elite, but i am certain the purple zealot struck the blow to six.

In the Halo Graphic Novel story Last Voyage of the Infinite Succour, Rtas was onboard the Seeker of Truth, Thel's Flagship. We see this at the same time as the level 343 Guilty Spark begins.

all that says is that he was in Thels fleet when the flood attacked, ships would have followed once alpha halo was discovered

p.s. i did find it odd that the elites did not take sixes helmet being that it would be a nice trophy and promotions for all elites involved in killing a spartan

I followed with all the ships in my command"

No, Thel's fleet, The Fleet of Particular Justice I believe, left as one battlegroup. No other ships were noted to have arrived after. Also, Rtas served on Thel's flagship i.e. they left together.

Why is this discussion still continuing? Is it that difficult for people to understand that Rtas was gone before Lone Wolf takes place? Seriously?!

No reinforcements were noted to arrive at Alpha Halo since Thel's fleet arrived according to Thel's logs at the end of the reissued "The Flood". Even the Ascendant Justice was there from the beginning. It's "reappearance" in First Strike along with its escort is attributed to it retreating to the far side of Threshold when Halo was about to blow.
