Its almost here halo ce 2.0

I know gearbox or bungie or microsoft probably wont do anything in that update to make the players happy but what do you want to see in the update? id like dx 10 graphical settings available, maybe gfwl support and the ability to choose whether to use gfwl or not, the ability to board vehicles, and double melee someone, BETTER NETCODE so ai syncs online and you can kill covenant with your friends and you dont have to lead which was retarded in the first place because a normal bullet would almost be insta hit.

Maybe improved functions with vehicles like dashing with the ghost or doing tricks wiht the banshees so u dont end up doing retarded circles over and over again.

Well that was my opinion just had to get it out lol, so what do u want in the halo ce 2.0?

If you take a look at the version information, you'll see that it's actually 1.0.9, not 1.9.

Taking into account the release date and making the assumption that the originally shipped game was version 1.0.0, we can see that we'll get a patch release rate of roughly 1.2 patches per year. At this rate, we'll hit the 2.0 milestone in around 109 years. I can't say with certainty whether DX10 will still be a relevant technology at that point.

However, if go further and plot the patch release dates versus time elapsed since the game's PC release, we'll see that the release rate is decreasing exponentially. Although I don't have time to do the mathematics, it'll suffice to say that we'll be waiting a very long time.

It probably won't be patched again in any of our life times.

Well, maybe in over 109 (or less)years there will be some sort of apocalypse which vastly decreases the Human population to small bands of nomadic groups who gamble, trade, and sell all what it left of civilization in a thriving black market.

The hottest entertainment item available on the black market might just be Halo: Combat Evolved PC. You know to cope with all the stresses of nomadic life. I mean, honestly, there are enough copies at Best Buy to last a long time. I'm sure there will be some fresh copies bouncing around.

Then the previously cryogenically frozen Bungie staff could be unfrozen and forced to make a new patch. How could they deny a bunch of hungry nomads?

My Youtube - Halo 2 Online Co-op
BUNGIE AND MICROSOFT FAILS HALO 2 VISTA.

Everytime someone buys a copy of Halo 2 Vista, a puppy dies.

Ok, Imagination time.

1. Update/replace current netcode with an updated distributed model netcode which supports Campaign over Internet.

2. Player limit up to 128. ;D
