This person / T'ker is only around the Bungie servers, mainly the EU ones. Try to avoid going on those servers. This person joins and the quits just before he reaches the Banning limit. He joins up very quickly through Direct IP. Lol i find it funny that you actually phoned up Microst lol. What did you say?

It's really no use to even try anymore. Me and several other's attempted to do something about the politic's in Halo, but any attempt we tried eventually became exhausted. You can keep tryin if you like, I'm sure most of us will support in any way we can.

We will get a new SUPPORTED Halo 2 before we get anymore support for Halo 1.

Good Luck

well, i have dial-up so i go where ever i want... which is rare because of my speed. i mostly dont stay in one server for too long usualy i go into the almost empty ones, after the servers get over 8 people i quit once it starts to lag. i think once i was in a full 16 player game with almost no lag... then someone quit and a laggy arse biscut came in and i had to quit because of the lag. but look for the small ones, or empty servers. sometimes i can get one going.

the only problem with that is that you can run into a room filled with allies and enemys with a rocket launcher and your allies wont get hurt.

I'd say that the disadvantage of taking off friendly fire is far outweighed by its advantages on Bungie servers as it totally takes away any power tkers have.

If someone hits you, then you commit suicide, it registers a teamkill.

so that doesnt realy happen a lot because normally you dont kill yourself on purpose. and with that chances of that happening there is no way you could get 5 tks

Well I think you did a great job of typing that message and if there's anyone they'll respond to, it's you. We can only hope : )

Oh, and how good is (ME)=KING anyway? Like, hypothetically if you got in a fight with him just to defend yourself, would he beat you, or is he just good at killing people who aren't expecting it?

Ya know, it's too damn bad we have to resort to such measures. I think playing Halo sucks with friendly fire off. But, what other options do we have? None.

It would be nice to get some sort of response from Bungie or M$. Oh wait....we did. I believe the only response I ever heard was, "It's (insert guilty party here) fault."

Well guy's, I don't know what else to say on this issue, or should I say, issues. The funny thing is, as of last night, none of the Bungie servers even appeared in the lobby list. You can connect with a direct ip or through something like x-fire.

Halo is about the only game that I play on my pc, so it kind of sucks when there are so many problems.

Ignorance seems to be very convinient for money hungrey corporations, who know that the majority of their consumers will blindly follow their product through many sequels. Except for us since we only have Halo 1.

Peace out, and yes I signed the petition.

The bungie.net community is the halo PC community that is renowned for being unbelieveably sucky.

I have to disagree here. FF is a great element of Halo. Playing on servers with FF turned off is like going duck hunting with your hands tied.

There are ways to deal with TKers. The easiest way is to get everyone to TK him, using the same quit/rejoin scheme that the TKer uses.

That's not to say I don't wish the code would be rewritten to implement some player controlled banning features, but it looks like Halo 1.07 is here to stay.

I would have to agree with ateabanana. That is the most realistic way to deal with this problem. Seeming we won't get another patch, and who wants to run aroung tking as well? That is what we are trying to get rid of.

Oh, and a better analogy would be, going duck hunting with confetti shot instead of buck shot. ;)

Peace

Hey, me too mate, it kinda gets on my nerves how that works. Pretty much our only hope is somehow, someday, something happens to make people start to play PC a lot. Then, "The guilty party" will start listening to its booing audience. Oh well : /

OK you people sound like your getting your hopes up for this. DON"T There will be NO patches for Halo PC unless someone compromises system security by exploiting Halo. That's all 1.07 patch was. A hacker figured out a way to exploit Halo and compromise security. Then thinking himself a white knight, told Microsoft about the exploit and said he would publish it on the internet in a week. Microsoft new Security is #1 policy demanded that the problem be corrected. Hench the 1.07 patch. Remember Halo PC is a Gearbox game. So Gearbox is really the only one's that can do anything about it. There is no one more tenacious then Mr. B and he has already barked up the Gearbox tree. I sorry to crush hopes but the Halo PC you have now is the Halo you will always have.
