You should make the pen a little darker, but other than that I like the overall concept.

If you can read this, you are looking at my signature

It's a good start, but this won't get you a job as a concept artist. the drawing skills needed from a concept artist is very high and can only be obtained through years of trial and error.

I dunno about your age, but I guess you have good time to perfect your skills with the pen. I suggest taking classes and doodle all the time. Practice with digital medias, maybe even invest in a graphic tablet like the Wacom Bamboo.

Good luck with your art.

"LOL :)"

I think you are good but you do need to work on some things. Maybe try some shading techniques?

I'm no artist myself, but I know what I would like to see if I was going to hire a concept artist, especially for something as great as Halo. :)

Keep at it though! You are good!

Ok I'll work on it.

By the power of truth, I, while living, have conquered the universe.

Methinks that Emile is badly proportioned, you should use images as reference and try different techniques like shading and cross-hatching but keep working on it.

No new games, catching up with the world, and filling it with the name of SpazDragon, the dragon with a spas-12.

The proportion and shading of course needs work, but atleast you show some potential.

What I always do is try stating with simple lines and circles and start from their. Experiment with them until you feel happy with it, then cover it with lots of detail, simple to complex as you go.

I'll give you an example later if you need it.

I think they look good, and with a couple more years of practice and what not, you'll be ready to step in the front doors of Bungie and kick some ass!

Choice not Chance

Being a Concept artist is hard my man, I'm sorry to break it to you but you have a long ways to go.

look into digital painting and sketching: photoshop and painter are a good start, and a tablet is a must.

this is the level that you have to get to man

Think before you post

You've got designs down. You just need to work on your proportions and know which lines to make darker. Definition is your friend when it comes to sketches.

You are by all means no where near having the artistic skill level required to become professional concept artist.
Your work is still very elementary and lacks basic proportions.

I suggest you start drawing much much more. Do studies of what you want to draw from a professionally modeled or drawn pictures off the internet and I also strongly recommend that you try studying human anatomy above all if character concepts are what you are into.
This site has tons of reference material for artists, check out the Andrew Loomis Anatomy books they really do help alot.

And finally I'm going to give you a little motivation to get started drawing as soon as possible. This kid was 15 years old when he made these Halo ship concepts for a mod, he should be the user called 'Ring Leader', his real name is Ethan Nino,:
