Chapter 1
You are Senior Chief Petty Officer Spartan-123. You are piloting a variant of the D-77TC Pelican. The Pelican is extremely damaged. In that Pelican are 21 other Spartans. You are approaching Reach at such a bad angle that one of the engines explode. Do you: Ride it out [CH.2] or Evacuate the Pelican [Ch.3]
Chapter 2
You decide to ride it out and pull up. The other engine suddenly explodes and your Pelican tumbles out of control. You try to stabilize it but the controls are jammed. Your Pelican crashes along the coast. You and your spartans are killed in the crash. Looks like your team just became MIA. -THE END-
Chapter 3
You and your spartans evacuate. There was no safe area to land so you decide to aim for the treetops to soften up your fall. The high speed impact with branches and leaves makes it feel like taking an assault rifle clip to the face. You crash into a tree trunk. You have minor injuries but you are alive. Your friend, Spartan-097, gives a full status report. Almost everyone has minor injuries. Six spartans have serious injuries... Four KIA. You are now responsible for the most spartan deaths in one mission before your mission even took place. You reach for your assault rifle. No clips, no ammo. You check your grenade belt. No grenades. Do you: Stay here and send scout teams to look for any hostiles[CH.4] or Decide to send in your full team and head out in a straight line[CH.5]?
Chapter 4
You decide to send in small scout teams. They find a couple Covenant Grunts but immediately kill them with rocks. They move on forward to find a lot of UNSC and Covenant bodies scattered across a field. They call your entire team in to check it out. You follow along. Your team spots to contacts. Your motion tracker labels them as Charlie Company but you only find 4 Marines. They are the last of Charlie Company. Better keep them alive for later. Do you: Check for any ammo?[CH.6] or Stay at your position to protect the Marines[CH.7]?
Chapter 5
Your team decides to march onto an open field in a straight line. A Sangheili Sniper with a stolen UNSC Sniper Rifle immediately spots your team and takes a headshot through you whole team with one bullet. Looks like it probably wasn't the best idea. -THE END-
Chapter 6
Your team decides to look for any ammunition. You find 3 rocket launchers, 6 rockets, 3 Banshees, around 50 grenades and 4 Mounted Machine Guns. Your team looks around even more and find UNSC Fury Tactical Nukes. The closest thing to a
nuclear hand grenade. You also find a comms relay outpost. Do you decide to call in for evac[CH.8] or Look around some more[CH.9]?
Chapter 7
You stay with the marines only to be overwhelmed by an attacking Covenant Army. It was all easy until they sent in the Wraiths and Hunters. Your team is instantly killed and so atre you. It would have been a fair if Master Chief Petty Officer Spartan-117 was there. Oh well. -THE END-
Chapter 8
You call in for Evac. They send you another Pelican but the Covenant Supercarrier above in space immediately destroyed the Evac before you and your men can escape. -THE END-
Chapter 9
You look around and find a covenant AI. You start to access its files and realise that it contains vital information on the Covenant. You call in for evac but an Army of Covenant Elites advanced closer to your area. You pass the AI to the Evac Transport and distract the Covenant army so that the Evac can escape. You died but you died a noble death.
Chapter 10
It didn't take long for Reach to fall. Our enemy was ruthless. Efficient. But they weren't nearly fast enough. For you had already passed the torch. And because of you, we found Halo, unlocked its secrets, shattered our enemy's resolve. Our victory - your victory - was so close... I wish you could have lived to see it. But you belong to Reach. Your body, your armor - all burned and turned to glass. Everything...except your courage. That, you gave to us. And with it, we can rebuild. -THE END-
