-blam!- you above poster.
I came very late to the party. May 2010. I picked up Halo 3 and and an Xbox 360 and, I was in love. The game was just, lovely. It was pure beauty. I convinced my friends to buy an XBOX 360, Halo 3, and an XBOX LIVE account, they all did, and I had SO much fun with them playing. May-August 2010 was one of the funniest times in my life. During that time, I saw the trailers for Reach, and of course got excited, but still played Halo 3. A few days before Reach, my best friend invited me to a game on this huge map one of his friends made, and it was a surprise game, all my friends were there, on my team and all of his were there, on his team, and we had a huge shootout on this huge custom Sandbox map on Halo 3. The map was awesome, on each back side, there were two bases with a lot of vehicles, and the bases were perfect with defense, offense, and sniping. We had a great time. On the night before Reach, my best friend and I had a quick final match on a map I downloaded, which was ok. In the morning I picked up Reach. On the first few days I played it like Hell, but then I realized, "This isn't as fun as Halo 3." I went back to Halo 3, and it was dead. And all my friends and I moved on to MW2, which is a fun game, but not as good as Halo 3. But a few days ago my friends and I got in a big fight which I don't think we will recover from. Ugh. With my friends gone and the Halo 3 community gone, I will never be able to relive those days.
